It doesn't take long to get to their room, and once there she lets the labcoat fall to the floor and steps out of her heels, going to the bathroom to quickly rinse her hands off before she goes back into the bedroom to pick out a dress.

She settles on a tight little turquoise number with a low-cut back. ]

[ He was expecting no less from her, so of course there's not much surprise when she steps out from the closet wearing that tight dress. There's still a bit of pause but it's only because he's taking a few seconds just to look at her, then he makes his way over, standing close to her just like she wanted. ]

I'm surprised this even has a zipper to begin with.

[ He says it jokingly, smiling as he reaches for the zipper and slides it up, slow and smooth, kissing the back of her neck before pulling away. ]

I think they put it there just so whoever wears it can ask someone they are lusting after to zip them up.

[ Because it's a nice little moment of intimacy. ]

Well, it certainly seems to be working well for you.

[ He lets his hands slide up her sides for a moment, then draws away again. Because if he doesn't they're not even going to make it out the door. ]

[ That is very true, which is why she doesn't protest when he draws away and instead simply puts a pair of cute flats on and follows him to the transporters. ]

We probably shouldn't make out in here, right?

[ Considering their earlier misfortune.

[ The walk to the transporters is rushed and at the same time seems to take forever, but there's definite relief once they're there. ]

Depends on whether we're sharing a transporter with someone else or not.

[ Seems no one else is going down to the resort right now, though, so the doors close with the whole transporter to themselves. ]

The chances of us getting walked in on in here are considerably lower.

[ Well, he is just going to have to resign himself to Trish sitting on his lap for the ride down to the planet then. ]

[ Such terrible fate. He sure looks incredibly distraught as he shifts around and settles one hand on her leg, his other arm rounding her back. ]

Lovely dress, by the way.

I'm glad you like it.

[ She wraps her arms loosely around his neck, looking almost a little glowy with happiness. Bruce tends to have that effect on her. ]

[ Murmured, ] I like it even better when it's off of you.

[ Because they are alone and Bruce isn't really going to bother keeping these thoughts to himself. ]

[ That particular thought earns him a long, slow kiss. ]

At least it'll come off easy.

[ He kisses her back just as slowly, licking his lips distractedly when she draws away again. ]

That is a pretty comforting thought right now.

[ Except it's also very arousing, which is something he should be avoiding. If nothing else then just so he won't call unwanted attention to himself on the way to the hotel once they land. ]

[ She should probably be more helpful about the whole no arousal thing buuuuut, she isn't going to be.

She is much more interested in kissing him some more, which is what she does. ]

I would like to get naked as quickly as humanly possible as soon as we get to our room.

[ Oh, he fully expects her to make it worse. He knows her well enough by now, so it's not much of a shock when he gets that answer. ]

Trust me, we'll both be working towards that same end.

[ He smiles lopsidedly. ]

[ She puts on an air of fake offence. ]

[ Bruce chuckles, not at all buying that fake offense. ]

Technically it's more like... a preventative fuck. You know, to keep you from attempting murder.

[ Even if hearing Bruce use the word fuck kind of does things to her. ]

[ He's kidding. He can't really turn the transporter around. ]
