[ He chuckles and nods, eyebrows raising. ]

[ She laughs a little too. ]

I almost feel like I should apologise.

[ Even if he had nothing more but thoughts of her, and this is some vast improvement. He licks his lips, looking thoughtful for a moment, then finally voicing what's on his mind. ]

[ Her attention momentarily diverted by his tongue, she leans in to give his lips a soft little kiss before responding. ]

Yes. Several times.

[ He leans into her when she pulls away, but doesn't actively chase after that kiss. Still, his eyes fall to her lips, his fingers curling a little around her leg. ]

That's— kind of really hot, actually.

[ She definitely likes thinking about Bruce getting himself off white fantasising about... well, what they are soon about to actually do. ]

[ He tips his head up and kisses her chin, arms wrapping loosely around her waist. ]

Though it can't compare to the real version.

[ He tightens his arms around her in a hug, his head settling on the nook of her shoulder. ]

I love you, Trish. [ Which she knows already, but it doesn't hurt to say it again. ]

[ She will never ever get sick of hearing it so he can say it as many times as he likes. ]

[ He nuzzles against her shoulder for a moment, then turns his head to the side to let his cheek rest warmly just below her collarbone. ]

Sorry. I think I ruined any potential transporter make out session.

[ He's not really that sorry, though. Being able to just hold her close like this is already wonderful in and of itself. ]

Yeah, I really hate being held and told that I'm loved. Such a mood killer.

[ She runs her fingers affectionately through his hair, perfectly content with sharing a quiet moment of intimacy like this. ]

I know. It must be a pain in the ass to deal with, when you're clearly with me just for my body.

[ There's not a drop of seriousness in his words there. ]
