[She'd done the same thing when she first arrived, explored the Moira from top to bottom. It's valuable to know where things are, and navigation is one of the best locations to have an eye towards. They might not have enough information on the journey to be satisfying, but at least they have some information to offer.]
I'm Leia Organa--let me know if you have any questions.
[She's halfway bracing herself for an as in Bail Organa?--but for all she knows, Togruta are sprinkled through other galaxies, just like humans. There's something vaguely familiar about this one, though, something she can't quite place.]

But as Leia speaks, she pauses, turning back to the woman with a puzzled look on her face.]
Did you say Organa? [Even if he wasn't a close associate to Senator Amidala, Bail was a pretty large voice in the Senate.]
I'm not crazy for asking if you know a Senator Bail Organa, am I? [because the people here had to be from all kinds worlds and universes, the chances they're from the same one-- it's all very unlikely. Right?]
no subject
You aren't crazy. He was my father. [Even knowing Anakin now, she can't downgrade Bail with a qualifier like my adoptive father. If her relationship to others aboard the Moira becomes relevant, she'll explain it then.]
This might sound like a strange question, but when were the Clone Wars for you? [Her guess is recently or they're still going on; the people she's met from her time or beyond it have recognized her name in itself.] It's the easiest way we have to tell how far apart we are in time.
no subject
Right. Alternate timelines. It was seriously something she was going to have to get used to.]
They're still going. It's getting close to three years in now. [And they seemed no closer to an end in sight.
But then what Leia says really clicks, and she skips back to that one little word that made all the difference.] -- Wait, did you say he was?
[well. that certainly answered her question on whether or not they were from the same time.]

[Ahsoka's not wrong--at least at her time--though whether she knows anything of their prior struggles for a child might be another matter entirely.
Leia's expression turns solemn as she nods.]
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. [She's not sure how wise it would be to go into the details, and after last month, she's especially unsure she ought to dwell overly on the matter. There must be better things to speak of.] You don't happen to know an Anakin Skywalker, do you?
no subject
Wow. Okay. Was not expecting you to say that much. [okay. But she can put that aside, because there's more important things to discuss now.]
I'm sorry for your loss. He was a good man. [But then Leia says a key name and Ahsoka's face lights up.]
Yeah, of course I do! [REALLY THOUGH who didn't?? He was such a Big Deal™.] He's my Master-- Jedi Master, I mean. [She's not his slave! Just. Clarifying. And still not forgiving him for that ruse.] I know he's here too, I already saw him. Did you meet him here, or do you know him in your time?
[She's being generous and assuming he hasn't gotten himself killed in the next twenty years by being completely reckless.]
no subject
Better, she thinks, to speak of Anakin--not least because the girl is so enthusiastic about him.]
I met him here. [She turns in her seat to face the girl fully; that enthusiasm is catching.] I didn't know he had a--you're called padawans, right?
no subject
Have you been here long? Anakin said it's been three months for him. [She's still trying to wrap her mind around all of this, so better to ask and learn. She may not know Leia, but her presence is soothing, familiar. Enough so that she's willing to listen and trust what she has to say.]
no subject
[Ahsoka's clearly an important part of Anakin's life, from what she's said. Perhaps she's overstating things or adjusting the truth--but if she really is Anakin's padawan, it'd be impossible to overstate the importance, wouldn't it? Look at Anakin and Obi-Wan.]
We've had a lot to catch up on, though. Anakin and I arrived at the same time--it's been three months for me, too.
Here, why don't you sit down? [She gestures to another chair, giving Ahsoka a pleasant smile.] It sounds like you and I could stand to catch up, too.
