[Robots don't need clothes, and this makes him sad.]
I haven't been on a lot of organic planets before, so I haven't had a lot of opportunity to see it. I've seen pictures of it before though, and I've heard it described as cold and wet.
[And it's definitely both of those things. Tailgate figures the novelty will wear off after a while.]
Is there snow where you live, Elsa?

Cold and wet is an apt description. But if you dress warm enough, it doesn't bother you so much.
[ She says, having no experience with ever actually being cold whether she wears a jacket out in winter or not. ]
Oh yes, we get a lot of snow during the winter. My sister and I would have so much fun playing in it.
[ There's a smile, but there's just a hint of sadness to it. Their winter fun as children had not lasted as long as it should have, but that's...still her own fault. ]
We would have snowball fights and build snowmen... [ She trails off, opting to not mention her powers--she won't do that with people without reason, no matter how much more comfortable she's trying to get with them. ]

Snowmen...?
You know how to make those? Well then, I humbly request that you show me how to make them! They don't look hard to make, but I bet there's some kind of technique to making them.
And I'm having a bit of trouble making snow balls in general. It's harder than it look!

[ Her smile widens and becomes entirely genuine as Tailgate speaks. Elsa can't even hide a soft laugh at his request, it really is too adorable. ]
I'd be happy to show you! Snowballs can be a challenge at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's not so difficult. The most important thing is having the right kind of snow--it can't be too powdery, or it won't stick together.
[ Kneeling down, not particularly worried about her uniform getting covered in snow, she gathers up some snow in her hands and starts packing it together. ]
We're in luck, it's perfect snowman-making conditions. All you really need to do is pick up some snow, pack it together nicely, and start rolling it in your hands. --But you have to be gentle about it, or you could end up squishing it.
[ Holding her hands out so Tailgate can watch as she explains, Elsa begins rolling the snow in slow circles between both of her hands, slowly forming a spherical shape. ]

Look! I did it!
[He says excitedly, holding it up to show her, only to have it roll out of his hand and break on the ground below.]
Aww, now someone is just making fun of me. Hang on, I'll make a new one.
[A new one is made, this time without incident.]
So what now? You put snowballs on top of each other, right?

[ Hopefully this one stays intact, although Elsa has no problem spending however long it might take to teach Tailgate the basics of snowballs and snowman building. It's a type of fun that she hasn't been able to have in years. ]
For a snowman, you have to make the snowball bigger before you really start building. All you have to do is put it back in the snow on the ground, and roll it around. [ As she explains the steps, she shows him at the same time with her own snowball. ] It'll gather more snow as you roll it around, and slowly get bigger. Then you simply have to decide what size a snowman you'd like and get the base, this first snowball, to the correct size.
