[Tarn holds Aurelia's gaze for a few moments before looking away.]

Which 'red one' has had the misfortune of catching your ire? Regardless, I am more than happy to pin the blame on a moronic Autobot-- as long as word of this never gets out.

[The last thing Tarn needs is to be seen as clumsy as well as weak.]

There's more than one? That's unfortunate. Sideswipe is the one I was thinking of.

[she curls her hand in front of her face, nodding up at him.]

Darling, there's no point on pinning the blame on someone else if there was a chance the truth could get out now, is there? Framing people is one sport of kings and I do pride myself on taking part in ones that have gone smoothly.

Ah, yes, the scrawny one.

[Tarn makes a noise of understanding before lowering his hand down to the ground in a clear gesture for her to climb aboard.

Tarn doesn't grab at Aurelia like he has with others. She's managed to earn his respect and thus is worthy of more gentle treatment.]

It seems that I couldn't ask for a better ally on this ship than you, Aurelia.

[aurelia is vaguely unsure of getting up onto that hand after tarn fucking FELL ON HIS ASS, but she also doesn't really want to be stomped on. she acquiesces, daintily getting up and using his thumb as a balance.]

I am glad to hear that, darling. Always lovely when you meet the right people.

Based on your scathing review of Sideswipe, I suspect that you don't have much of a rapport with the Autobots.

[The feeling of Aurelia's tiny hand gripping Tarn's thumb is something that he never thought he would get used to. But, he doesn't find himself repulsed-- not with this organic, at least. Tarn gives her time to settle into his palm before he begins to lift her.

His movements are smooth as he slides Aurelia off of his hand to rest on the smooth metal of his knee joint. It's absurdly large guard acts as a sort of backrest for her to lean against. Tarm thinks that perhaps he's allowing himself to get too comfortable with this organic, but he quickly waves off the concern. This is a special case. Besides, if he let Luke Skywalker sit on his shoulder, he can allow Aurelia to sit on his knee. It's far easier to have a conversation with her if she is closer to eye level.]

[she's a little unsteady when he first moves, but balances quick enough. enough time on elpis helped with that. aurelia does take a moment to look carefully at tarn's knee joint before stepping onto it.

interest, is all.]

The only other Cybertronians I've met that haven't been large and purple are Sideswipe and... a little yellow one? I scratched his paint and he had an absolute conniption. Are they all like that? Awfully unfortunate, I'd say.

The Autobots, perhaps. Decepticons tend to be a bit more hardy.

[Tarn watches Aurelia settle onto his knee, nodding at her conclusion.]

But, it does seem that the vast majority aboard this ship are supremely useless. Which, to be fair, is not surprising when you look at the ratio of Autobots to Decepticons.

So far the only two with even the slightest amount of worth have been Soundwave and-- amazingly enough-- Tailgate.

I see.

[it's thoughtful. aurelia decided a long time ago she wanted to kill a cybetronian and absent mindedly runs a hand over tarn's knee joint. very big. very thicc.]

I've not met those two. I'm to take it Tailgate isn't a regular member of your entourage?

[Aurelia's hand running over the metal of Tarn's joint feels strange. He isn't completely sure how he feels about it yet.]

No, he used to be an Autobot before I converted him. He trusts more than he should and talks even more, but he may very well be the most powerful Decepticon to ever live. He posses some sort of outlier ability that has made him impossibly strong.

For some reason he seems bent on forcing me to make friends, but there are worst allies to have.

[Tarn slowly finds himself relaxing. His frame creaks softly as cables begin to loosen.]

[aurelia's expression shifts almost imperceptibly. god fucking damnit is she getting roped into a weird cult AGAIN]

How curious. I suppose he won the superpower lottery.

[she doesn't keep touching his knee for too long - aurelia is all too aware all he needs to do is stretch and she'll be paste.]

Who would you consider a bad ally, darling?

Anyone foolish enough to double cross me. I assure you that there are plenty-- namely Starscream. He's never been particularly trustworthy to begin with.

[He almost finds himself missing the contact when it stops, but he quickly puts it out of mind.]

Sounds awful with a name like that.

[CONTROL YOUR ORGANIC FETISH TARN]

What does he look like? Asking... for a friend.

He's just as awful as you might expect.

In fact, somehow, through some horrible stroke of misfortune, we have managed to procure two starscreams aboard this vessel. They both look similar enough-- aerial alt modes, inflated egos, red optics...

Two--

[aurelia shudders briefly, having a sudden vision of two handsome jacks showing up. sure, it would mean she gets to shoot him twice, but still. no thanks.]

Ah. I think I've seen one around. Talked him into punting a tourist into the sea. Not a very bright fellow, is he?

[a chuckle forms deep in Tarn's chest.]

No, I dare say that he is not. More than once he has attempted to rise up and assume command of the Decepticons, only to fail spectacularly.

His ego, I find, gets the better of him more often than not.

He's so horrendously like the man I was working with on Elpis.

[she shakes her head.]

I believe that was what drove him to it. I would've reported him to the authorities and laughed as he was violently ejected from the planet, but I'm no grass, darling.
sparkwhisperer: (pic#9013258)

[personal profile] sparkwhisperer 2016-07-03 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
it isn't worth wasting your time to report him to be quite frank. Besides, I say let him make a fool of himself. He's too dense to realize and in the end it may be entertaining to watch.

[He pauses to reconsider.]

At least from a distance

Oh, yes. Maybe I'll see if I can't talk him into eating one of those power cores I stole form Del Pascia.

[she cackles.]

Is radiation poisoning a thing for you fellows?
