"Open up, and let them in."

Harry Flynn | Uncharted | OTA
[Flynn stumbles across an unknown world, convinced that he is in the midst of some terrible dream. The last thing he remembers are bitter words and a flash of light, and even that was hazy at best, considering the small matter of the gunshot wound. Still, what's that saying about being in Rome so he tries to roll with it. After all being alive and in space in some dumb space kidnapping bullshit is better than being dead because of your shitty boss.
Except for one thing.
His pants seem to have become ... attached to his person. He panics. How the bloody hell is he going to take a piss?]
Week 3
[Ahh, now this is more like it! Flynn doesn't give a toss about xenoarchaeology, but some of this shit has to be valuable, dunnit? You may find him eagerly attempting to ransack the old settlements and probably setting off a trap.]
week 2 - you know what's going down ...not his pants!
Elena's on her way to a shift at the medtent when she comes across him. At first she has no idea who he is, his back is facing her, but she can see the tension in his shoulders enough to know that something's not right.
Before immediately going to the man's side, she speaks out, taking a few steps in his direction. ]
Hey, is everything alright?
Rub it in why don't you :'(
Right. Now I'm not trying to be fresh with you—unless you'd like that of course—but I seem to be having an issue with—
[And that's when he turns and sees her face. He recognizes her immediately, as for him it wasn't all that long ago since he last saw her. He remembers the pity on her face, but actually mostly he remembers that she broke his nose a while before that.]
—you've got to be bloody kidding me.
[His surprise is more deadpan than exclamatory.]
won't be any rubbing here my new friend :'(
She'd begun to move closer. As soon as he spoke, it didn't register at first, the voice, it was when he'd turned that she'd stopped dead in her tracks to stare at him. It was like looking death in the face, a ghost coming back to haunt her. ]
Oh Christ—
[ He looked exactly as she remembered and it was definitely not in the good way, either.
Elena felt herself take a step back, mind reeling at the possibility. ]
Is this...? [ Is this real? ] You really can't be here right now.
[ Then on a hushed mutter to herself: ] I'm seeing things. I've spent too many hours in the med tent. I'm not sleeping right. I'm—
[ Her eyes squeezed shut. One peeked open— yeah, he was still there.
Ah, fuck. ]

What's wrong, darling? Not happy to see your old pal Flynn?
no subject
But guess what, calling him her old pal is not a very good thing to do. Same goes for calling her 'darling'. It sets her off. Elena sees red. She feels fury.
For someone who's got a broken left arm in a sling and fading bruises along the side of her face and still looks in a bit of rough shape since the crash, Miss Plucky moves quick.
Say hello to Miss Punchy, Flynn. Her mean right hook has missed breaking noses since you died. ]
You— asshole!
no subject
JESUS CHRIST, WOMAN! What was that for?!
[He hadn't even done anything this time!]
no subject
[ She's shaking on the inside. The only thing that gives it away is the slight tremor behind otherwise calmly spoken words and the shaky right hand, which flexes and closes at her side. Been a while she's hit someone that hard, her knuckles will have a bruise to show for it.
Elena had punched him for multiple reasons. Being alive was one of them. And because he was ignorant to why she wouldn't be so happy to see him.
Ah, but it's somewhat gratifying to see all that blood spilling down his chin and staining his shirt. ]

week 2 - guess you're gonna need a catheter, flynn
He's practically passed one of said new guys when his attention is caught—something about the way he's standing, like something in his pants is bugging him, or some subconscious twinge of familiarity. Who knows.]
Do you need some—
[And then he sees his face.]
...you have got to be kidding me.
no subject
Oh look at that, you're stealing the words right out of my mouth now, Drake. What the bloody hell are you doing here?
no subject
What do you think, genius? Enjoying my time as a victim of space kidnapping.
[But he's alive to do so, and Harry shouldn't be. Something in his chest twists as Nate looks him up and down.]
Jesus. How is this even possible? You're supposed to be dead.
no subject
How am I supposed to know? It's alien technology or what have you. Why don't you tell me if you're so smart, huh?
no subject
[...he's read a few conspiracy theory websites, sure, but mainly for laughs during a drunken night in with pals.]
I knew Ingresses could pull people from different times, but I didn't realize they could heal. You're looking significantly less smeared across the floor.
no subject
[He lays the sarcasm on extra thick, so Captain Bloody Obvious over here gets it.]
Yes I'm a real boy and right as rain. Y'know, more or less.

Week Two; after the punches and the arse-nipping
So here she is, making her way through the temporary medical centre, leaning on the piece of wood that Nate had managed to swipe for her to use until she reaches the area she thinks she's supposed to be meeting the staffer with her crutches. She pushes the flap of canvas aside.]
Oh, sorry, I didn't realise this was already ta-
[And then it registers who it is and her voice catches in her throat for a second.
His nose is bruised and swollen, there's more than a small amount of blood (and is he sitting on an ice pack?) but there is no mistaking who it is.]
-ken. Harry?
[No way. No way. Space zombies now?
Jesus, what a week.]
no subject
And then he hears her voice.
It's funny, he should hate her as much as anyone else right now. After all she betrayed him for Drake, busted his face, and stole his gun.
But ... that was just Chloe Frazer for you.
He looks her over, taking notice of her makeshift crutch, and stands to help her.]
Chloe? What in the world happened to you?
no subject
Because really what do you say when someone who you saw blow themselves to bits gets to his feet and starts walking towards you? Not exactly a situation to prepare for easily.]
Me? What happened to me? Oh you know, abducted, whisked away into space without so much as a how's your father.
[Oh god he is covered in blood. And that makes sense, that makes absolute sense. Elena was covered in blood when they'd dragged her out of there. Makes sense that Harry would be when he...]
Starting to think I'm seeing things though.
no subject
I was wondering if I'm in some sort of strange dream, myself. I don't seem to be waking up, though, so I s'pose it's real.
no subject
[Her throat feels dry, and though he offers her the chance to lean against him she makes no move to take him up on it.
This is... this is just ridiculous. First it's the space thing and now it's dead partners-with-benefits apparently alive and well and battered in tents in space and Chloe's pretty bloody sure she's about to snap to consciousness in Syria and find she's been stuck with one of Talbot's hallucinogenic darts.
She and Charlie will have to compare notes on their respective trips.
She's pretty sure hers will win.]
You died in Shambhala. You-
[Her voice breaks into an incredulous laugh, even though there's nothing funny about this. Chloe's always had the weirdest reactions to things.]
You blew yourself to bits and nearly killed us with you.
no subject
And the thing about the grenade isn't going to be forgotten anytime soon, he sees. What else was he to do? That grenade was dropping one way or another, as soon as he lost the strength to hold it.
He curls one side of his lips in a faint, jaded sneer that disappears as he shrugs.]
I was having a real shit day.

Looks like I owe you one, boy.
no subject
[Nate lets go and pulls away before the guy's ass can fall on him (or, for that matter, his gunblade).]
It's Nathan, not 'boy'. [He might tolerate a friendly 'kid', but 'boy' from a stranger rubs him the wrong way, so he doesn't get to use 'Nate'.] But sure.
[He looks across the pit at the edges of the other side.]
I can't tell if they actually had something valuable or powerful, or if they were just paranoid.
no subject
[Flynn's eyes narrow as the wheels in the head start to turn. There is something rather familiar about this kid.]
You could probably pass as a brother of his, I bet. Eerie.
