AI, though he follows my commands. He's as much of a dog as you can get without the fuss of a real animal.

He's gotten more defensive over the years, out of necessity, and better armor as well. He used to be blue and silver once, if you can believe it. He matches me now.

If I had my proper headset, I could use him as a speaker for my voice. As for an actual voice... [She shrugs.] I've thought about it, but I think I like him as is.

Ah, but what does he think about it? [Her tone is light, friendly, as she wrenches open the Mako's door, depositing her various kit in the cargo.] What if he's always longed for a singing voice?

If it wouldn't trouble you, yes. And if Q could sing, I doubt it would be very good.

[Q whines a little, barks once softly.]

[Shep jumps in, scooting across to the driver's seat, and pats the passenger's.] Hop on in.

[There's a beat, then she looks over her sunglasses at Q, wiggling her eyebrows.]

Robodogs with operatic dreams are also welcome.
