... I can think of a few sunglasses at night types. [Sans takes a moment to look very thoughtful, going as far as cocking his head to the side. He's being coy, sure, but Guess Who is a game best played with theatrics.] Black hair?

Black hair, [he says with a nod of confirmation. So Sans has clearly seen him with his wig. Unless...there's another guy with black hair perpetually wearing shades.

"Always lurking about", "that's probably the extent of what you know about him", all things he thinks to say but doesn't, not wanting to call too much attention to his secretive nature. That tends to look shady.]

[William glances at Sans.] Sounds like you met him already.

More like observed from a distance. [And speaking of observation, he's learning a lot more from this conversation than he expected.] Not gonna lie, buddy, I didn't think he was your kinda company.

[saidsarcastically]

[William raises a brow, looking at Sans curiously. "Observed from a distance", huh? How he always ends up talking to these types is completely beyond him.]

And what made you not-think that?

Well, you just seem like a pretty straight-forward guy is all.

[Wink. Whether he's being straight with him, coy, or sarcastic isn't really clear.]

Oh, well, he's just painfully shy is all. I try to bring him out of his shell when I can.

[If "shy" meant "paranoid" or "compulsive liar", yeah. Though William's tone isn't really hiding the fact that he's being glib.]

Ah... [Sans nods, a parody of sage agreement.] Shy. Right.

You keep a lot of company like that? [No judgment, of course, but the implication is clear.] Y'know, shy guys?

Nah, variety is the slice of life. And my company varies a hell of a lot.

[That's definitely not a lie, especially since Deacon is the most secretive - er, "shy" guy in his little group.]
