"Back home! In LA, I mean. You know, on Earth?" Milly's eyebrows raise. Come on, Jasper, where else would she have heard of them. "But I don't think they hang around Earth much. Or at least, not LA, anyway."

"I've never heard of any Ell-Ay," says Jasper, frowning. She pauses. "...Are you talking about the Crystal Gems?"

"The name rings a bell. Yeah, I think that's them." Milly's eyes brighten. "Why, do you know them?"

[stompadour]

"You could say that." Jasper's frown has progressed into a scowl. She puts a hand on her hip. "I've fought them."

Milly puts a hand to her mouth, eyes widening a little. Oh, man, this is just juicy. "Oh my gosh, really? When? Over what? Are you guys nemeses?"
