[A sunburn that looked like it was going to be very painful later. Charles isn't a parent though so he only gives that a moments thought. He is curious about the bucket and what the child is up to though and he watches from behind his book until one of the little crabs starts to crawl out.

However many years had passed since he had shut his school down, Charles still felt a little responsible when it came to children and stupid decisions. And a bucket full of crabs? Probably not the best of choices. He can't say not to play with them at all though, that's actually their parents responsibility. Instead:]

You do know how to handle crabs, I hope.

[They look up at him, and then down at the bucket, and their pause is enormous.]

... Yes.

[How convincing. While they're distracted, a particular crab swims/climbs its way to the bucket's lip, and it drops to the sand now. Plop! Chara's attention is immediately recaptured, and they shuffle out of the crab's path.]

[The creature heads for the nearest source of shade, which happens to be Charles' umbrella. Chara does nothing to stop it. Another crab climbs out of the bucket while they're not looking, and a third is close to following.]
