Well, I hope for your friend's sake that they're not here.

[ That...actually goes to literally any friend ever, but any artificial intelligences that aren't here are especially lucky at the moment. Wash has his own issues with them, but he still knows damn well that they deserve rights as well as anyone else. The issue still gets on his nerves, even if it's been a lot more settled lately. ]

Yeah, conflict's to be expected. But apparently a lot of people around here have looser morals than others. I don't know if it's because of where they've come from or if we're just lucky to have gotten the lunatics, but it's been a problem more than once.

Probably better if you keep that eye open.

[ It's cool Tony, you're not the only one here who already does that and barely sleeps in the first place. Maybe they should start Paranoid Insomniacs Anonymous. ]

He is, in fact. [ Currently stuck inside a processor with a dead battery, embarrassingly enough, but it sounds like that might be the safest place for him until Tony can get a better lay of the land Wash is describing. ] I'll be sure to beat off any nefarious robo-suitors with a stick. No worries there.

[ But he's pretty sure JARVIS can take them without any help from him. ]

So, now that you've instilled a sufficient sense of foreboding and paranoia, tell me: what isn't awful about this place?

[ Hearing that Tony's AI friend is actually here but will evidently be protected has Wash raising his eyebrows and giving some kind of gesture with his head that reads something like "if you say so". ]

I guess that would depend on what you consider a perk.

[ There's a shrug, and Wash actually has to take a bit of time to think about how to answer. ]

There's a bar onboard. And a cafe that actually has decent coffee. I mean, I guess you could say any of the amenities are a perk. They at least keep you from getting too bored.
