( open ) let's dance
Who: the teen population of the Moira
When: at some point after arriving at the Luminous Sea, late afternoon/evening
Where: recreation area
What: a very 80's party thrown by Peter
takeitslow! Is your character currently a teenager? If yes, then assume they have somehow magically gotten an invitation and come party with us!
Warnings: none for the moment, will change if necessary

So maybe there's a lot of young people suddenly around the Moira. The best way to deal with it is obviously by throwing a party. Because adults are boring people who can't have fun and how can you not go wild at a party with a disco ball?
The rec area has been decorated just a bit for the occasion: there's a few tables with quick snacks, sweets and drinks, and 80's music playing from some strategically placed speakers. A good portion of the area is unimpeded so people can dance, and there are balloons of different colors a little bit all over.
The pool's decorated with tiny glitter confetti too, so it gives off a very glow-y vibe. Probably not a good idea to jump in but hey, you do you.
People are free to start up their own activities during the party, be it games like Spin the Bottle or Never Have I Ever, or something like attempting synchronized dancing. Seriously, go wild! (Not too wild, though. Just because there are no parents around doesn't mean you all should do whatever the hell you want.Yes it does.)
(Everyone feel free to put up specific starters for your characters, or for 'group' activities, go ahead and put up a top level so that everyone who wants to can jump in!)

Yeah...
[ She braces her hands on the toilet seat lid and slowly gets up, feeling more than a little wobbly. ]
At least I'm pretty sure I'm almost back to sober now. Silver linings. Or something.
no subject
Alright. I'll help you up.
[ He shifts away a little and gets up, leaning down just so and offering his hands for her to take. ]
no subject
Shit, I'm breathing right at you, I'm sorry.
no subject
It's okay. If your stinky breath poisons me you can just take me to medbay.
[ He glances at the sink, though. ]
You want to wash up a little?
no subject
No, I want to keep standing here holding hands while I slowly kill you with my breath.
[ She smirks a little at him and lets go of his hands so that she can turn the tap on and wash her face. As she puts some toothpaste on what she assumes to be "her" toothbrush she glances at Bruce in the mirror before starting to brush her teeth, wondering if maybe he'll take off now that she isn't puking her guts out anymore. ]
no subject
I don't know. People are into all sorts of weird stuff.
[ He takes a couple of steps back since she seems to be able to wash up on her own just fine, standing a little closer to the bathroom door. He's ready to give her some privacy if she needs it, but he's not yet planning to leave.
Although that glance she gives him makes him wonder if she'd like that. He's helped her already, it's not like there's a reason for him to just hang around now. ]
no subject
[ Said around her toothbrush but she thinks he can hear her well enough anyway.
She's just joking anyway so if he can't it's not exactly a great loss. Mostly she's just keeping the conversation going so that he doesn't have to just sort of stand around awkwardly while she is making herself presentable. ]
no subject
[ He leans against the doorframe, smiling at her reflection, feeling a little weird about just standing there and watching her brush her teeth. He was just thinking she might not be able to stand on her own two feet all that well, and he was ready to rush in and help if need be, but it doesn't look like she'll need it at this point. ]
Should I go? You seem to be better now. I don't want to bother.
no subject
[ She rinses her mouth and then the toothbrush, turning around to face him again. ]
But you don't have to babysit me or anything. You can go if you want to.
no subject
[ He assumes she's going to sleep now, anyway. He doubts she's in any condition to do anything else. Sure, he'd like to spend some time together, but it doesn't have to be now. ]
no subject
[ She rocks a little on her feet, not really wanting him to leave but also not sure if it would be okay to ask him to stay. ]
I mean, I could even breathe on you without killing you now.
[ Wow, that was almost Bruce levels of awkward. Her secret is revealed, she too is a giant dorkasaurus. ]
no subject
That's... charming, really.
[ Bruce isn't the best at reading people, though, so even when it looks to him like she's just thinking of ways to get him to stick around, a good part of him is telling him he's a dumbass and that's just wishful thinking.
Whatever. Only way to make sure is to bring it up. (He has to fight back the dread and horror that she might just laugh at him for it.) ]
I can stay, if that's what you want?
no subject
[ She walks close enough to him that she is definitely invading the personal space bubble, and then yes, she breathes him right in the face.
And then she laughs at her own joke.
Someone remove this girl from this situation right now she is not qualified. ]
Stay.
[ Okay, that wasn't very polite. He's not a dog. ]
Please?
no subject
Hmm. Minty. No trace of puke. Impressive.
[ It's so weird meeting a pretty girl who talks like this and does this sort of silly stuff, but... it's really nice. It's nice that he can feel so at ease around her.
Ne nods promptly, his smile warm. ]
Alright. I'll stay.
no subject
She's not sure how happy she is with the discovery that she is a total velocidorkus but at least when it comes to Bruce it seems to be a good thing.
She smiles back at him, just as warmly, and that's when it starts to feel kind of... in a different way that she is standing so close to him.
An "oh no, he's cute" kind of way. ]
Thank you.
no subject
Add to that the fact that Trish is pretty and nice to him, and he may be very well getting a stupidly fast crush on her... well.
But he definitely thinks he's the only one, which is why it makes this just a little easier to handle. And by handle he means ignore. ]
Thank you, too.
[ For letting him stick around, of course. For wanting to spend time with him. ]
Um... maybe we don't really have to stand around in the bathroom anymore?
no subject
[ She steps around him into the bedroom and goes over to the bed to flop down on it, laying on her stomach and leaning on her elbows to rest her chin in her hands. ]
Better?
no subject
Well, if you're comfortable, then that's what matters.
no subject
[ She points to the floor in front of the foot of the bed. ]
I know, grab a cushion and sit there. Then I can mess with your hair while I ask you embarrassing questions.
no subject
Hesitantly, he goes grab that cushion, placing it on the floor, then taking a seat by the foot of the bed as she told him too. So obedient. ]
I'll take that as you asking for permission?
no subject
The question mark was silent.
[ She does refrain from actually touching him until she's sure it's okay. ]
no subject
Sure, sure. Of course.
[ She can consider the lack of opposition an affirmative answer there. ]
no subject
[ Since he is so conveniently leaning back, she steals his glasses and puts them on herself. ]
no subject
[ Look he may or may not have realized that she's a little bit bossy by now. But evidently he doesn't mind.
He also doesn't mind it when she takes his glasses from him, even if he ends up seeing things with a little more blur. ]
Now you look like a proper nerd too.

Think it's a good look on me?
