"I feel liberated when I'm doing it, and I want other people to feel liberated through it."
☄ ENJOY YOUR STAY ... IN PRISON Those who choose to go to Del Pascia will find themselves greeted by D-E-L. It has already agreed to terms with the Captains, allowing crew to strip nonessential supplies that aren’t needed since the station’s crew and prisoners were relocated due to funding cuts. The only condition placed upon this agreement is that any crew wishing to explore must undergo a mandatory decontamination before proceeding through the rest of Del Pascia. This process takes only minutes and is guaranteed to cause no physical side effects. Following this simple procedure, exploration is open with only warnings to be careful about damaging key systems. It is important to note that there are various security cameras located throughout the correctional facility, and it is not uncommon for D-E-L to comment or show concern for those exploring parts of Del Pascia. ☄ DEATH BECOMES YOU There is salvage to be found in all parts of the facility, including the cell blocks and infirmaries of the prison wings. However, there is something odd about these sectors, a strange charge in the air that follows you as you search for anything useful to bring back to the Moira. Perhaps it is the eyes of D-E-L watching? But then, after an indiscernible amount of time, it's like a switch is flipped. Suddenly, you are wearing your sins where anyone but you can see. For however much death you have wrought or committed, there will be blood on your hands—perhaps even further than that. This bizarre occurrence will appear as an almost digital skin and will not vanish until outside the cell blocks. If exploring the infirmaries for supplies, any and all health stats throughout your life will be visible and easy to read by anyone who happens to take an interest. ☄ WHAT WAS THAT SOUND? Del Pascia is a very large station and has been abandoned for quite some time. D-E-L will regretfully inform anyone who asks that some nonessential areas have fallen into disrepair. It will warn that exploring these areas can be risky as it has no knowledge of what damage these sections have taken. Regardless of that, if you venture in, you’ll find that these sections are in rather bad shape. Exposed wiring sparks in the walls, a great variety of broken tools are thrown about, and it seems that every camera has been purposely broken. Venturing in further will yield valuable components for salvage, and yet... as before, you suspect you aren’t alone. It isn’t often, but sometimes, you might hear a step falling moments after yours or a rattle coming from the vents. Every time you go to investigate... whatever made the noise is gone. |

"Are you from one of those, uh, colonies?"
Starscream and his fraggin colonies.
"I'm Rodimus. Captain of the Lost Light. Ex-Matrix Bearer?" He withers slightly. "You've never heard of me?"
no subject
"What colonies?" he asks, making a face. "I didn't think we had any."
That should probably answer the question.
"Nnnnooo..." He tries for a smile. "But you sound really cool!"
no subject
For some reason or another alternate universes doesn't even really register as a possibility to Rodimus. He was told it was impossible anyway, and if anyone knows about science, it's Perceptor.
Time travel though? Yeah that was possible.
"You didn't drop down a hole for like 6 million years right?"
no subject
Sure, cops weren't the greatest bunch of bots in the universe. But that was mostly because they were boring and stodgy and in love with their rule books. Not murderous.
He makes a face at that.
"No way. I'm not that old!"
no subject
God. Starscream as Emperor. He still can't get over that.
"....Four million then?"
no subject
Like Sideswipe knows what happened to the rest of the Decepticons after the war. He never paid much attention.
"Gross. That's like, Gramps old."
no subject
"Everyone apparently lost all their lugnuts and elected him Emperor of Cybertron or whatever. It just was a terrible idea, which is why I'm glad I'm not there to deal with it."
He bounced from that mess as soon as he was able to. True that he hadn't yet been elected with the Lost Light first launched, but he's glad he didn't stick around after the Dead Universe shenanigans and Megatron's trial.
"Rude! Four million is still spry and young! That's like... barely older than the war." Says the 4.2 million year old. "It's when you get creeps like Galvatron who are like eleventy billion gajillion years old that you get ancient."
no subject
It wasn't even that long ago, it was just... before his time. And, therefore, ages ago. It makes Bee seem like more of an adult than he probably is, too. Which is just weird to think about -- so he doesn't.
"Dude, the war's been over for like... ever. I never even saw it!" He pauses. "What's a Galavatron?"
no subject
Then it finally dawns on him.
"No way, are you from the future?"
no subject
Someone, anyone other than Sideswipe is probably 100% more equipped to answer that question than Sideswipe himself. For his part, the kid just sort of stares at Rodimus with a blank expression. Like he's being asked to do calculus.
"No... idea?"
no subject
"Hmmmm." Rodimus hums, cupping his chin while he examines Sideswipe. "Well, the war's over."
He shrugs a little. He'll process it later. For now, Sideswipe is cool future guy.
"So, any idea how to scram from here and bounce back through this thing?" He makes a motion with his arms that's supposed to symbolize jumping back through it, but it looks more like picking something up and tossing it.
no subject
He doesn't see why that's such a big deal. Doesn't everyone know that? Why is that such a big revelation?
He shrugs, though, waving at the big glowing blue thing. "Nah, dude. Riptide says it's broken. And if it's anything like a broken space bridge? You... probably don't want to bounce anywhere near it."
no subject
Rodimus was nervous, his spoiler flicking this way and that.
"Yeah, I get you. Anyone, you know, working on it?"
no subject
Until he kind of knocked a bunch of them down. And got arrested. Again.
"Maybe. I kinda just got here."
