"I feel liberated when I'm doing it, and I want other people to feel liberated through it."
☄ ENJOY YOUR STAY ... IN PRISON Those who choose to go to Del Pascia will find themselves greeted by D-E-L. It has already agreed to terms with the Captains, allowing crew to strip nonessential supplies that aren’t needed since the station’s crew and prisoners were relocated due to funding cuts. The only condition placed upon this agreement is that any crew wishing to explore must undergo a mandatory decontamination before proceeding through the rest of Del Pascia. This process takes only minutes and is guaranteed to cause no physical side effects. Following this simple procedure, exploration is open with only warnings to be careful about damaging key systems. It is important to note that there are various security cameras located throughout the correctional facility, and it is not uncommon for D-E-L to comment or show concern for those exploring parts of Del Pascia. ☄ DEATH BECOMES YOU There is salvage to be found in all parts of the facility, including the cell blocks and infirmaries of the prison wings. However, there is something odd about these sectors, a strange charge in the air that follows you as you search for anything useful to bring back to the Moira. Perhaps it is the eyes of D-E-L watching? But then, after an indiscernible amount of time, it's like a switch is flipped. Suddenly, you are wearing your sins where anyone but you can see. For however much death you have wrought or committed, there will be blood on your hands—perhaps even further than that. This bizarre occurrence will appear as an almost digital skin and will not vanish until outside the cell blocks. If exploring the infirmaries for supplies, any and all health stats throughout your life will be visible and easy to read by anyone who happens to take an interest. ☄ WHAT WAS THAT SOUND? Del Pascia is a very large station and has been abandoned for quite some time. D-E-L will regretfully inform anyone who asks that some nonessential areas have fallen into disrepair. It will warn that exploring these areas can be risky as it has no knowledge of what damage these sections have taken. Regardless of that, if you venture in, you’ll find that these sections are in rather bad shape. Exposed wiring sparks in the walls, a great variety of broken tools are thrown about, and it seems that every camera has been purposely broken. Venturing in further will yield valuable components for salvage, and yet... as before, you suspect you aren’t alone. It isn’t often, but sometimes, you might hear a step falling moments after yours or a rattle coming from the vents. Every time you go to investigate... whatever made the noise is gone. |

[Honestly, he thought he was here by himself. In this part of the station, anyway. And part of him had done it on purpose -- because where there were fewer people wandering, there were better chances for finding a music player someone hadn't already claimed.]
[He recognizes the voice, though, and pads around the corner, ready to give her some ridiculous answer.]
[And just stops dead, his expression going from smug to horrified.]
Y-- Scrap! Are you -- you're leaking!
no subject
[Leia does look up--sharply, a little bemused--at the voice. (Is that a comment on her height? Every human must look tiny when you're as big as Sideswipe.) Dropping the oddly shaped bit of metal with a clang, she turns to face him.]
What do you mean, leaking?
no subject
[Sorry, Leia, that's your first Cybertronian swear. Maybe not first, but oh well.]
[He gestures to, well, all of her.]
That red stuff! The stuff you guys lose when you're damaged! You've got it on you!
no subject
It's not real, look.
[She holds out her hands--spotless to her--and swipes one against the other. Though she might not be able to see it, her earlier confrontations made clear that the blood wouldn't be affected by her touch.]
Just a hologram.
no subject
[He hunkers down even more to watch, nervous and unable to completely keep still. Is she serious? If it's not real then...?]
[And it doesn't move. Doesn't change.]
That -- why would they do that to you!
no subject
[She gives Sideswipe a little smile--one she thinks he could probably use at the moment. He deserves some more reassurance of her continued health, considering how worried he seems.]
It's nothing to worry about, though. [Belatedly, she glances over him.] How are you doing down here?
no subject
[This is Sideswipe trying to save face. And probably failing miserably. But oh well. He tried.]
[And he shrugs, still crouching near her.]
Fine, I mean. I don't have a fluid hologram on me, and nothing's tried eating me yet.
no subject
[This is Leia letting him, albeit with a smile. She doesn't have a good sense of how droids age, especially outside her galaxy, but Sideswipe gives the impression of a rather young personality. There's room for a little leeway for him--here, at least.]
It's a bad day when an abandoned prison is better than a star cruiser. Those scraplets didn't take too many chunks out of you, did they?
no subject
[He's totally going to take it and run with it, for now, when everything is creepy and weird. He's already seeming to settle down.]
A real bad day, no kidding. [He twitches a shoulder in a shrug.] Nah. I've had worse.
They didn't eat any of your stuff did they?
no subject
[If he's calming down a little, that's what matters.]
None of mine. One of my bunkmates didn't have such an easy time. [Don't be a cyborg, kids.] I think they were too busy trying to get to her to try my blaster.
no subject
[And yes, he's back to his usual self.]
Ouch, that sucks. Is she okay or...? [A beat.] Blaster?
no subject
[A wry smile. Leia wouldn't be quite so flip if Fiora had been more compromised, but...well, things mostly worked out, as far as she can tell.]
Blaster. [She draws it out of its holster, holding it so Sideswipe can see it, but it isn't pointed anywhere dangerous.] I'd have been cross if they had been interested in it.
no subject
[Says the guy who hates schooling in all its forms.]
[He perks back to attention once she draws her weapon, his optics widening a little.]
Whoa. They let you keep that here? But they took your shoes?
no subject
[Pep talks before battles, at the very least. It looked like a miserable time for everyone made of metal.]
I don't think they had much control over it. [Leia swallows a laugh.] They haven't taken it yet, though--and it comes in handy sometimes.
no subject
[Guess which he's had more of before.]
Y-yeah, guns kinda seem like they're useful things! Even when they're just stasis ones.
no subject
[Anyway, blasters away. She glances up at the droid, amused.]
Just how many times have you been arrested?
no subject
[Because that is the coolest thing.]
Oh, thaaaaaaaaaaaat... um.
Not many?
no subject
[But sometimes it's hard to think of herself that way--she still feels like a diplomat most of the time, albeit using a different form of diplomacy than mere talk.]
More than once?
no subject
[Says the kid who's never actually seen a war in his life.]
... yeah. But totally not my fault!
no subject
...So you were arrested by accident? [Sideswipe.]
no subject
[Said in the tone of someone who doesn't entirely know if he buys that or not.]
Yes.
Totally.
A lot.
no subject
[There's a laugh threatening to escape her.] This, I've got to hear.
no subject
[If robots could blush...]
Uh, well. There's... a lot of red bots in the speed circuit...
no subject
...So they were speeding tickets. [Sorry, Sideswipe, she's laughing a little.]
no subject
Not all of them.
[LEIA NO DON'T LAUGH you can just see his pride getting wounded.]
