When: Oct. 17-Oct. 31
Where: All over
What: Special deliveries
[OOC Note: Happy housewarming, everyone! Items are permanent, and may be found by the person they're meant for... or by anyone else. We encourage players to reach out to their CR, or comment around on the signup page if you have interest in finding another character's item or allowing them to find your own.
The changed spaces are not permanent, but will be available for anyone to encounter and engage with. Altered spaces will return to normal on November 1.]
When: Oct. 17-Oct. 31
Where: All over
What: Special deliveries
| The latest residents of Avagi haven't been on the space station long, but many have settled into a routine of sorts. It's hard not to, when everyone is locked inside with no weather patterns or job shifts to make each day different. But on October 17, something does change. |
| Missed Items |
It's subtle and swift. Those with sharp eyes and luck may glimpse a flicker of silvery light. It's smaller than the openings that brought them here, and disappears faster. When it does, it leaves something behind—an item from home, left close to the person who misses it... or not. The lights appear all over, depositing items familiar to your worlds. Do they end up with the right person? A completely wrong one? Are they left at a random place in public, to be discovered by the first person who happens to pass by? With so many odd, unannounced deliveries, the answer to all of these questions could be "Yes". Whether you've found someone else's treasure or are looking for your own, you may want to reach out—or at least, keep your eyes open. |
| A Sense of Home |
Still, not everything that was missed was a thing. Certain spaces through Avagi experience a longer, brighter appearance of light, transforming in a variety of ways.
Nothing lasts forever. By the end of the month, these changes fade away, leaving Avagi as it was before they arrived... if with some new precious memories. |

I don't think most people on this station would stop to look at an old doll like that.
[Though now, come to think of it, she is— her expression shifting into stark surprise once she gets a closer look at it, attention fixed entirely on that weathered toy. Is that...no. No, it couldn't be.
Could it— ?]
no subject
Well, I'm not most people.
[Peeking up at her from beneath dual-toned bangs, Kurt watches the shock come across her face, his own eyebrows lifting in bewilderment. He knows recognition when he sees it.]
... you know who this belongs to, don't you?
no subject
...what makes you say that?
no subject
The look on your face a few seconds ago told me all I needed to figure that out.
no subject
But also she really wants her stuffed animal back.]
All right, you got me. I know who it belongs to— and I can tell you they want it back.
no subject
Again, an eyebrow lifts, although more out of curiosity this time.] You do, [he confirms, more of a statement than a question.] Well, if you don't mind telling me, I could get it back to them as quickly as possible!
[Maybe a bit too enthusiastic for him to not have an idea about the bear's owner, but he'll keep playing along.]
no subject
[It's a weighted suggestion from where she's meeting his stare— and eyeing those sharp, sharp fangs. She's still grinning, a little more for show this time, but a promise she's not about to throw down over what he's holding onto
right now.]Unless you really want that thing to keep you company.
no subject
[Simply put! His grin widens, the arm around the stuffed toy curling a little more securely. This is very clearly a challenge accepted face, Sombra.]
Actually, I do. He's pretty cute and all.
no subject
[She's teasing when she says it, but there's an edge to it too: the razor sharp promise of someone that isn't entirely joking, despite all behavioral signs pointing to the contrary.]
no subject
[His eyes widen, lower lip poking out, the shift into pathetic puppy eyes all too easy. It's subtle, though, so being able to tell if he's faking or not may be difficult.]
Besides, [he tests gingerly.] What makes you think you could take it?
