"I feel liberated when I'm doing it, and I want other people to feel liberated through it."
☄ ENJOY YOUR STAY ... IN PRISON Those who choose to go to Del Pascia will find themselves greeted by D-E-L. It has already agreed to terms with the Captains, allowing crew to strip nonessential supplies that aren’t needed since the station’s crew and prisoners were relocated due to funding cuts. The only condition placed upon this agreement is that any crew wishing to explore must undergo a mandatory decontamination before proceeding through the rest of Del Pascia. This process takes only minutes and is guaranteed to cause no physical side effects. Following this simple procedure, exploration is open with only warnings to be careful about damaging key systems. It is important to note that there are various security cameras located throughout the correctional facility, and it is not uncommon for D-E-L to comment or show concern for those exploring parts of Del Pascia. ☄ DEATH BECOMES YOU There is salvage to be found in all parts of the facility, including the cell blocks and infirmaries of the prison wings. However, there is something odd about these sectors, a strange charge in the air that follows you as you search for anything useful to bring back to the Moira. Perhaps it is the eyes of D-E-L watching? But then, after an indiscernible amount of time, it's like a switch is flipped. Suddenly, you are wearing your sins where anyone but you can see. For however much death you have wrought or committed, there will be blood on your hands—perhaps even further than that. This bizarre occurrence will appear as an almost digital skin and will not vanish until outside the cell blocks. If exploring the infirmaries for supplies, any and all health stats throughout your life will be visible and easy to read by anyone who happens to take an interest. ☄ WHAT WAS THAT SOUND? Del Pascia is a very large station and has been abandoned for quite some time. D-E-L will regretfully inform anyone who asks that some nonessential areas have fallen into disrepair. It will warn that exploring these areas can be risky as it has no knowledge of what damage these sections have taken. Regardless of that, if you venture in, you’ll find that these sections are in rather bad shape. Exposed wiring sparks in the walls, a great variety of broken tools are thrown about, and it seems that every camera has been purposely broken. Venturing in further will yield valuable components for salvage, and yet... as before, you suspect you aren’t alone. It isn’t often, but sometimes, you might hear a step falling moments after yours or a rattle coming from the vents. Every time you go to investigate... whatever made the noise is gone. |

[She's shouting a bit, though it won't sound like it to Luke's ears. The translators may translate her Ailurin, but that doesn't change the fact that it's primarily spoken too quietly for humans to here.

Han? [Look bolts up, eyes wide.] Han!

[His smile is meant to be reassuring, but it comes off a bit rueful.] I'm, uh, not the biggest fan of uniforms. [Not when they come from the crew of what appears to be a Star Destroyer, anyway.]
[But having had a good night's sleep (more than a night's, really), he's standing a little straighter, gaze a little clearer.] I've been to the medbay-- really, you don't have to worry on my account.

Why anyone would want to spend their lives on a ship is beyond her. She desperately misses solid ground beneath her feet. And this will just have to do.
She wears only her thermo, hating the assigned uniforms. Her long hair is loose, all except for a single braid over her shoulder, a remembrance of a life that was not to be. She moves methodically from cell to cell, taking parts not only for the engine, but for some of her own personal projects. Projects which include hijacking an escape pod with Solo and his friends. But that's far off, for the time being.
What isn't so far off, though, is a sudden sense she gets through the power of her...disability. Another person. Like Obi-Wan. And that...Anakin guy. Brow furrowed, she slowly starts to follow the feeling until she finds a boy, only a few years older than her, if that. A boy who readily voices her own sentiments.]

Unfortunately, that means very literally bumping into Luke when rounding a corner. (Because what good is the Force if its navigational tendencies aren't extremely literal, right?
Maybe Vader someday later, but now he's just rounding into people while paying a minimal amount of attention, it's very intimidating.)Of course, instead of being met with an immediate apology, all Anakin offers is:]
All I heard down here was you; what are you talking about?
[Flawless introduction, nailed it, 10/10, etc.]

The robot is people-watching idly in a far-off corner when he's addressed. He's all smiles at first, even though he doesn't exactly have a positive answer.]
Sorry, darling. I'm afraid I don't know where you can get shoes--my, but I think that clothing of yours is important to deal with too. What a travesty!

[The girl is staring at his feet rather then his face. She's clad in the black uniform with a brightly colored, but worn leather vest and her own regulation boots that she's scuffing on the floor. She frowns, putting her hands on her hips and finally looks up to him after a few moments. She doesn't seem put off by how he looks; she hadn't looked much better when she arrived and she's not about to go insulting anyone over a ragged appearance. It's kind of homey, actually.]
They stole mine too, when I came here. Really weird right? Like they got something against shoes. Might ought to run back to the place you came in at, make 'em give ya some. We got bunch of robots around here. Bet it would hurt it they ran over your toes.

His presence isn't something she's noticed before--not outside Cloud City, anyway--but before now, she's always had an idea of where he was. As one of the leaders of the Rebel Alliance, and more specifically, a leader who worked fairly closely with the X-Wing pilots, she'd almost never needed to wonder what he was up to.
A month without that basic certainty of scheduling, though, and his absence becomes something that can be noticed and--especially now that she has the beginnings of an idea of how to find that connection--filled. When he arrives, it's like drinking a glass of water on a hot day; even if she couldn't understand that it was him, she'd like to believe she'd trust the need to follow the sense telling her to head to the medbay.
(Someday, maybe, she'll be trained out of these confining understandings of the Force: something to fill a glass, something to draw out of a well. The vast ocean of it is still too overwhelming for her. Subconsciously, she wants to be able to contain it, give it a shape she can control.)]
Luke! [She'd run over to him and hug him under other circumstances, but now? He looks as bad as he did clinging to that antenna on Bespin. The Force didn't see fit to tell me this--or maybe it had, and she hadn't heard it.] They took your hand?
[She means the prosthesis, but that's undoubtedly easier to understand when he's already gotten a prosthesis.]

The clang draws her sharply from her musings on the merit of the object she's holding and she jumps, every muscle going rigid. Wanda sets it back down and takes a few cautious steps in the direction of the noise, eyes narrowed.

Seeking refuge in the Force, he wanders now much the same way he wandered in days previous, his mind reaching out, plucking at strands that lead this way and that.
There's something familiar here, Kenobi realizes. A distinct warmth, but edged in such a way that it leaves the impression of a guardedness. It draws him like a lead, tugs him nearer and nearer to its origins. Strangely enough, that takes him to a place not all too far off from where he'd met another Force sensitive person a month ago.
His eyes are open this time, searching for someone, though he only has a guess as to who he thinks he feels lingering out there. The person he finds is not quite what he expects, but the hair — a sandy crop he only sees from behind at the start — is so reminiscent of someone else, it's almost too obvious.
Luke. Unmistakably Luke Skywalker, although the impression that's been given means he's particularly larger than life in Obi-Wan's eyes at this moment. And also shorter than expected. ]

Welcome to the Moira. [His gaze flickers over to the young man’s hand -- or rather his lack of one -- and a sympathetic look briefly flashes over his features. Re: luke skywalker | the star wars.
But eventually, sleep wins out. Like, several days later eventually, because it's the only reason he's tired enough now to not have made an immediate, overbearing introduction. And really, Luke almost gets a pass on that.
Right up until he casts an obvious, silent, wandless spell with all the effort of lifting a hand. Two wizards in the past two days — that's too much to pass up. He sits up, and careful as he is, it just sets the hammocks back to swinging. Whoever designed the decor here clearly didn't prioritize function. ]
That was wonderful.
