Who:Han Solo and YOUR FACE
When: throughout the month of May
Where: aboard the Moira unless otherwise noted
What: for all your miscellaneous threading needs! will probably post some specific starters, but feel free to hit him up with basically anything.
Warnings: currently n/a; will warn in threads / update as needed

Though going home is Han's number one priority, he's not sure a temporary trip (if that's even for real) is worth the risk. So while he'll get into his share of trouble, he's sticking around on the Moira a fair amount. Plenty to do.

He keeps up with his work running one of the transporters as needed, and can frequently be found between trips on the flight deck. Sometimes he's poking at his shuttle of choice, but just as often he can be found in or around the Millennium Falcon. Loath as he was to risk spreading whatever contamination they've all contracted onto his pride and joy, there's only so much waiting a man can take. (Play your cards right and maybe you'll get a tour, he likes to show off.)

The mess hall, the bar, and the cafe are all frequent enough haunts. Hell of a lot better than being stuck for months with instant caf and freeze-dried rations. As far as space travel goes, this is straight up luxury.

Otherwise, he'll be around, here and there.

[Luke looks over with a cocky expression, different from Han's but no less overconfident.] I don't get lost anymore.

[He would have said 'Jedi don't get lost', but, you know, there might be someone listening in this crowd. He just smiles and wanders off. He knows he should keep an eye on Han, but Han can, really, handle himself. The only reason he'd need to watch him is to see what he's doing, and Luke trusts Han not to do anything too morally reprehensible. These people aren't, really, like the sorts Luke grew up with, where stealing from them could be their livelihood.]

[Luke is safe enough, anyway; he doesn't have a wallet to steal. A few thieves figure that out when they bump against him in the crowd, and Luke offers genuine apologies for being in the way.]

[When Han is done doing... whatever it is he's doing, he'll find Luke in front of a speeder shop, arguing with one of the customers about which models are best for what sorts of terrain. He seems seriously tempted by the offer to race, but shakes his head at the last minute when he sees Han approaching.]
I really don't have the time.

A floatcoach is nothing compared to a- oh, Han. [Luke waves to the man he was chatting with, and wanders over to Han. He looks at the little pie for a moment, curious, but not enough to really push it. He'll ask later.]

[(He wonders, for a half-second, if pickpocketing is a skill he could pick up. It just seems like something the Force could aid you in. But Beru and Owen wouldn't approve if he tried, and Luke refuses to go against the way they raised him.)]

I guess you had fun.
t65: (i need more smiling icons.)

[Luke gives Han a skeptical look, but eats his food without complaint. It's good, and disappears more quickly than Luke had been expecting; he hadn't realized he was hungry.]

[Licking his fingers in a move that is probably insufficiently urbane, Luke looks at the speeders.]
They're all so overpriced. Even if I had the money, I wouldn't. [Who knew having a centralized government that wasn't based on a water standard or ganglord embargoes raised prices!] Can we go somewhere with a roof? And doors? [And central heating?]
t65: (god he misses r2 so much)

[personal profile] t65 2016-05-11 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
[And Luke follows along dutifully. He's fine with bars, he know the rules for how bars work: follow the lead of whoever brought you in the first place.]

So... what do you think we should do until we get back? [It's Han's homeworld, he would know what works best, wouldn't he?]
t65: (star wars is about a 13 y/o girl)

[personal profile] t65 2016-05-11 05:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I wasn't planning anything. [That general maxium is true at almost all times.] It's your homeworld.

[Luke thinks of something and smiles,] That means it's your job to be a good host. [From his joking tone it's pretty clear he's not holding Han to any special standards he doesn't normally. He looks around the bar, idly taking it in.]
t65: (helloooo cleveland.)

[personal profile] t65 2016-05-11 05:38 pm (UTC)(link)
[Well, if ships are out...] Let's stick with things we can do while staying inside. [Luke is still wearing a sleeveless shirt, afterall.]

What're you drinking? [At this point, Luke has given up ever learning how to hold his alcohol, but a general sense of curiosity about the galaxy makes him ask.]
t65: (THIS IS STUPID)

[personal profile] t65 2016-05-11 06:03 pm (UTC)(link)
[On the one hand, it's probably safer than jet juice. On the other hand, Luke doesn't have one.] I won't appreciate it. [He nudges the bottle back.] From what I've heard, you shouldn't waste it. Who knows when you'll get any again.

[At Han's question, Luke shrugs.] Not as cold as I was.
t65: (helloooo cleveland.)

[personal profile] t65 2016-05-11 06:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I never told you to be anything. [He laughs, joking.] I know how you feel about being given orders.

[Luke considers Han's question.] I don't see why not. I accidentally brought a speeder back last time; we almost crashed it into a river. [Moving on... Luke nudges the bottle back for the third time, and wonders how long it would take for them to wear a groove in the table.] So it's yours to keep. You should savor it.
t65: (this r2 unit is fucking balls.)

[personal profile] t65 2016-05-11 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
If we're going shopping, you can buy a bottle. [Luke begins to nudge it back... but, ugh, Han has a point. Or, well, he doesn't have any kind of point, but he makes it seem like it isn't a big deal and doesn't matter, and that's enough to convince Luke. He rolls his eyes and takes the galaxy's tiniest sip.]

[Luke's nose scrunches up, and he coughs a little.]
Better than jet juice. [Better than something that came out of a distillery made of X-wing parts? Gosh!] Happy now?
t65: (i know i knowww)

[personal profile] t65 2016-05-11 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't steal it. [Luke whines indignantly.] I paid for it first.

[But that means... Luke narrows his eyes.] You're not thinking of- [He leans in with all the subtlety he possesses (none), and whispers,] Stealing it?

[He said to the career criminal.]
t65: (who cleans this part of cloud city)

[personal profile] t65 2016-05-11 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
[Strangely, this doesn't convince Luke at all. His forward lean becomes a slump over the table, holding up a skeptical expression.]

What are you thinking? [Something about his tone carries an unspoken this time.]
t65: (its alright luke)

[personal profile] t65 2016-05-11 08:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not worrying. [He says worriedly.]

[At Han's question, Luke shakes his head.]
Not money. I had a canister of water on me from the Moira, and the speeder was used. Old model, too.
t65: (its alright luke)

[personal profile] t65 2016-05-11 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Clothes that aren't those uniforms. Shoes. [What does the Ingress have against shoes?] But we can only take what we can carry, you know. The only reason the speeder came with us was because we were in it at the time.
