Who:Han Solo and YOUR FACE
When: throughout the month of May
Where: aboard the Moira unless otherwise noted
What: for all your miscellaneous threading needs! will probably post some specific starters, but feel free to hit him up with basically anything.
Warnings: currently n/a; will warn in threads / update as needed
Though going home is Han's number one priority, he's not sure a temporary trip (if that's even for real) is worth the risk. So while he'll get into his share of trouble, he's sticking around on the Moira a fair amount. Plenty to do.
He keeps up with his work running one of the transporters as needed, and can frequently be found between trips on the flight deck. Sometimes he's poking at his shuttle of choice, but just as often he can be found in or around the Millennium Falcon. Loath as he was to risk spreading whatever contamination they've all contracted onto his pride and joy, there's only so much waiting a man can take. (Play your cards right and maybe you'll get a tour, he likes to show off.)
The mess hall, the bar, and the cafe are all frequent enough haunts. Hell of a lot better than being stuck for months with instant caf and freeze-dried rations. As far as space travel goes, this is straight up luxury.
Otherwise, he'll be around, here and there.

[Luke thinks of something and smiles,] That means it's your job to be a good host. [From his joking tone it's pretty clear he's not holding Han to any special standards he doesn't normally. He looks around the bar, idly taking it in.]
no subject
[Technically coming here wasn't anyone's idea, though. Complain as he might it's just his instinctive reaction, he's not really that bothered about it. There are worse places to be. He sort of expected they'd end up on Tatooine, after all.]
Besides, I'm being a great host. [He's thinking about it, though. What's worth seeing, if they've got a few hours to kill?]
The shipyards are in orbit, I don't think I can get us a ride. [Because Corellian engineering is one of the best things to come off this rock, obviously. Present company not counted.]
no subject
What're you drinking? [At this point, Luke has given up ever learning how to hold his alcohol, but a general sense of curiosity about the galaxy makes him ask.]
no subject
[Eh, live a little, kid. He nudges the bottle closer.]
Still cold?
no subject
[At Han's question, Luke shrugs.] Not as cold as I was.
no subject
You can't tell me to be a good host if you're not gonna be a good guest.
[Besides, he'll be a terrible host if he finishes the bottle on his own. Though Luke brings up a good point-- it's been a while since Corellian anything has been on the menu.]
Do you think we can take it back with us?
no subject
[Luke considers Han's question.] I don't see why not. I accidentally brought a speeder back last time; we almost crashed it into a river. [Moving on... Luke nudges the bottle back for the third time, and wonders how long it would take for them to wear a groove in the table.] So it's yours to keep. You should savor it.

It won't keep as well open. We can go shopping later, [he adds with the lopsided suggestion of a grin. Hey, if they're here, they might as well make the most of it, and he's been plumbing some decently deep pockets.]
Come on, don't make me make up some kind of hospitality tradition you're breaking, just have a drink.
no subject
[Luke's nose scrunches up, and he coughs a little.] Better than jet juice. [Better than something that came out of a distillery made of X-wing parts? Gosh!] Happy now?
no subject
[So maybe this has turned from an unexpected trip home to an impromptu rum-running afternoon. That doesn't count as things going awry, it's things getting better. Speaking of, even if he's making a face like that-- no, who's he kidding, especially if Luke is making a face like that-- getting him to try the rum seems like a victory.
Hey, he takes his laughs where he can find 'em.]
I'm gonna have to work pretty hard to outdo stealing a speeder.
no subject
[But that means... Luke narrows his eyes.] You're not thinking of- [He leans in with all the subtlety he possesses (none), and whispers,] Stealing it?
[He said to the career criminal.]
no subject
[He says that a little too loudly, because Luke possesses absolutely no subtlety at all. It is, actually, an oddly charming trait in most situations, but no one wants the barkeep getting the wrong idea.
Besides, he's planning to buy booze with stolen money, that's totally different.]
no subject
What are you thinking? [Something about his tone carries an unspoken this time.]
no subject
[Being Rebels makes both of them career criminals, what he's thinking of is strictly small time.]
Where'd you get the money for a speeder?
[He's changing the subject because Luke looking suspicious and scandalized does no one any good. Kids these days, honestly.]
no subject
[At Han's question, Luke shakes his head.] Not money. I had a canister of water on me from the Moira, and the speeder was used. Old model, too.
no subject
What else could we use?
no subject
no subject
[Not a bad start.]
More fuel for the Falcon'd be good, but that's too heavy.

no subject
You have any idea what she'd like?
[This is not his strong point.]
no subject
Have you got any ideas?
no subject
Jewelry? Women like jewelry...
no subject
[Now he's just distracted. Rubbing at his eyes, he murmurs,] What's something you can only get on Corellia? Some sort of... a souvenir?
no subject
[Not romantic. Even he knows that.]
Maybe jewelry is a good idea.
no subject
[Please, Han, know this information so Luke doesn't have to.]
