[If it was, she wasn't surprised she'd never had it. There was a lot of culinary creations on the Moira she'd never heard of before. The lack of resources at home made it easy to miss out on the simple treats everyone else was used to.]
So ya get bees to make food for ya?

[The girl, sweet. Leia has the feeling she might buck that particular adjective, but it's not wrong. Bee has a good heart and a quick mind, even if some of her values are a little...unusual.]
A long time ago, people would follow the bees back to their hives and get the honey. Now there are people who keep bees and collect honey from them whenever they need it.
[We can go and find some honey in the kitchens if you're done with the bee is on the tip of Leia's tongue, but she suspects the girl might hear it as a veiled order. They don't need to leave if Bee doesn't want to; she's stuck on the Moira so long that it would be a pity to take her away from the sunshine and sweet-scented grasses of the plains.]

Keep 'em? Like pets? [Her eyes grow wide and she whirls around to face Leia.] Can people keep 'em like pets? You think we could put some on the ship?
[They're pretty and small and weird. She's always been fascinated with the few creatures the Zone's had to boast, from the lizards to the roaches. Living things she didn't have to be wary of, solid and hearty in their own right. These bees are a new living thing for her to obsess over, and a namesake at that.]

[As far as Leia's concerned, that means they aren't exactly ideal pet material, but her standard is the pittin, not the radioactive roach.]
We could put some on the ship, but I'm not sure if the garden has enough flowers for them. [Her knowledge of beekeeping is limited to the facts she's already offered, and the last thing she wants to do is bring home something that might die on the poor girl. In a fit of inspiration, she says--a little recklessly:] If you wanted a pet, we could look for one in Aldera.

[Not that she plans to eat the bees, but still.
She's a little put out by the idea they can't keep any; she would have liked to show Kobra the her namesake. But Leia's idea, however reckless it may be, does recapture her apt attention.]
Really? I could have something? [She's bouncing on her heels in seconds, joy written across her face.] Yes! We gotta look. You know, I've always wanted one but there ain't much to choose from out in the Zones. Most nice things don't live long out there.

Lizards are a little smarter than bees. Easier to control, too.
[And with excitement like that, Leia can't help but think this plan isn't a bad one. The girl is old enough to take care of a pet, and Leia thinks she's responsible enough, too.] Come on--there has to be at least one pet shop in Aldera. I'm sure we can find you something you'll like.

[Her grin widens and in her excitement she starts to reach for Leia's arm, like she would have to pull Kobra around. She catches herself just before she touches skin, sticks her hands back into her pockets. But the motion was obvious and under the grime of her cheeks, Leia may notice the hint of red embarrassment.]
Well come on. We can't just stick 'round here if there's something like that to see.
