When: 15th to early 18th in the medbay, late 18 to the 23rd in the hold
Where: Medbay and the Hold
What: Directly after this. Peter really screwed up and now he's hanging out in the medbay until he recovers. Later he hangs out in the hold. Wanda's around to feild all your questions about how stupid her twin is.

[visionarie]

[He takes in the small details of his movements, the confined space of the cell. For someone who could move at high speeds to be kept in a confined space like this was a true punishment.]

Are you certain?

[takeitslow]

[He nods, crossing his arms over his chest in an unconscious show of how uncomfortable he is. But he smiles slightly, one that doesn't reach his eyes.]

You don't owe me anything, man.

[He lets the words hang in the air for a moment before he continues.]

But I still want to ask you something. A favor, I guess. Not for me. [He sighs.] I guess you know about who my sister is by now.

[visionarie]

[A small tilt of his head. Favor?]

Wanda Maximoff. [He answers, nodding.]

[takeitslow]

She wasn't involved. [He says it loudly, letting it carry to the cell next to him.] She had no part in it. Whatever you think about me for this, you can't hold it against her.

I know you two are from the same world. I've seen some of her memories. Just don't think you can't work with her, because of all this.

[visionarie]

[His brows furrow at that... unexpected answer.]

I do not blame her for your actions. They are your own, separate from her.

[takeitslow]

[Taking care of her reminds his first priority, no matter that it's what landed him in this mess to start with.]

I'm not so sure everyone will always think that. I just had to be sure.

[He hesitates.]

Do you have anything like a sibling? Family?

[visionarie]

[His lips press together as his face falls into a somber look.]

I have... creators.

This body, this mind, the source of what I am... They each had their own vision for me.

[And they were each disappointed with what finally emerged. They were his creators, but nothing like a family. That he knows for certain because if the Maximoff's taught him anything it was that family was.... not something he had.]

[takeitslow]

But are they family? Because that's why I had to ask. She's family. We do everything for family.

[We. The Maximoffs. The little group they'd gathered here]

Did you live up to their visions?

[visionarie]

[He only had two days with them and in that time Tony had been suspect of him from the beginning and Ultron had tried to kill him. Now that he had more time to reflect on the matter and with one of his creator's virtually nonexistant in his life in this place Vision had come to realize a hard truth.]

No. On both counts. I am... [his eyes fall on the ground] a disappointment.

[takeitslow]

[He cocks his head to the side, watches the way Vision isn't looking at him.]

We all disappoint our parents; I think that's kind of a part of existing. Pretty sure Mom's in a constant state of it. You know, the stealing and cop visits and all that. It's not always the worst thing in the world to be different than what they wanted. It's not bad.

[visionarie]

I am who I am... I don't regret who I am. [His eyes rise up to meet his.]

Nor, do I think you do either.

[takeitslow]

You shouldn't.

[Peter might not know Vision, but that didn't matter. He'd spent a lifetime in a world that wanted him to be something different. He'd learned to stop feeling ashamed as his own way to fight back.]

I'm not really sure if you mean that as a compliment, but I'm taking it as one. Because I don't.

[visionarie]

I suppose we're both disappointments.

[takeitslow]

[He knows Vision is right; Peter's been a disappointment for most of his life. Most of the time, he doesn't think to much about it. But there's still something that stings a little hearing it from someone else instead of just thinking it.

He tries to keep his expression from wavering.]

Maybe. But it's not the worst thing in the world. At least you're in good company, huh?

[visionarie]

[A look.]

Do you consider yourself good company?

[takeitslow]

[He scoffs, turns away to sit on the bed.]

I'm not always sitting in a jail cell, you know.
