[She mocks a scolding tone. There's a clear implication that she expects there to be next time for this.
Letting go of him she takes a step back and leans her back against her door. She hadn't actually planned this any further and she didn't know whether she really wants to let him inside or not. Normally, she wouldn't mind but now she was afraid that bringing someone in with her would wake up one of her roommates. And last thing she wants is to have any of them see her in such a chaotic state.]
Do you want come in to help me undress and then tuck me in to the bed? How sweet of you.

[Next time. He doesn't mind the idea of getting to carry her around more often. Maybe the more she deal with his abilities, the less she'll think strangely of them.
He watches her back away and tries not to frown. He hadn't meant it that way, honestly. It wasn't that he didn't think that on a regular basis, he's still seventeen, but he'd only been thinking of getting her to sleep. He balks, for a moment all of his awkwardness comes rushing back.]
That's not- I mean, I wouldn't mind, but. You said you were tired. And just, you know, carrying you in.
[He pauses, gathers himself again. He steadies his tone.] Do you want me to come in?
no subject
The more she thinks about it the more convinced she's that no, she doesn't want let Peter in. And it'd be lie to say that it was only because of her roommates. But still, she presses her hand against the lock, which responds to her fingerprints by opening.]
It's okay. But be careful, Sans and the others are inside. [And with that she pushes the door open and steps in, expecting Peter to follow her.]
no subject
You live with Sans? Why would I be careful around him?
[He likes Sans, trusts him. If anything it's just reassuring to know two of his favorite people on board are living together.
He follows her into the room, taking care to be slow and quiet. He's already looking around, both to scope out whether Sans is around and to get a look at her living space. It may be the first time he's ever been in a girl's room that didn't belong to a relative.]
At least you guys don't have the weird egg beds down here.

[She says, keeping her voice barely louder than a whisper, and closes the door behind her. She's obviously joking with that comment, but Sans had asked her whether she was going to meet up with Peter earlier when she was getting ready for tonight. The answer she gave him wasn't exactly a nice one-- she's pretty sure that Peter wouldn't be here if he were to hear it.
Even in the dark, it can be clearly seen which side of the room belongs to J. A huge mirror set to hang on the wall right opposite to the door and next to it there's a small makeup table, full of different kinds of brushes, tiny bags, tubes and a jar filled with used cigarette butts. There's also bunch of dresses and shoe thrown around the floor and chairs-- not the tidiest room, no, but the mess was nothing compared to chaos over Sans' side. Med'an and Ryan fit somewhere between these two extremes. ]
Never had a chance to sleep in those. Maybe you'll invite me over some other time.
no subject
I would but one of my roommates is a real dick. You don't want to deal with him.
[Kylo is a little too hostile for Peter to willingly subject J to him. He's mostly ignoring the guy but the second something was said to J he knows he'd have to step in. He's already got one fight to plan for, he can't start a beef with his roommate too.
He keeps looking around, eyeing some of Sans's mess. Suddenly, he stops and his eyes widen.]
Wait, sleep? You want to sleep there?
no subject
She opens her mouth and is about to comment something about knowing how to deal with jerks like that but then she's stopped by his latter reaction. His voice sounds almost scandalized by the suggestion, which only makes the smile on her lips widen, starting to remind the confident and flirtatious smirk that she usually wears.]
Maybe.
[She whispers softly and slowly walks to her side of the room, steps staggering and tired. When she's next to her bed she kicks the heels off and removes her coat, letting it to fall on the chair, trusting that the darkness of the room is enough to hide all bite marks and scratches on her neck and collar bone from his eyes.]
no subject
He flushes, looking away and back. And then smiling. That was the J he was used to, the one that teased her way under his skin. He hoped it meant she felt better than whatever was really bothering her in the elevator. He could handle being the fool in front of her if it gave that trade off.]
I might have to kick them out for a while then, if you ever really wanted to come by.
[He can totally kick the guy's ass for that. What's another fight in the long run?
He watches her start to pull away parts of her outfit and likens it to someone pulling away armor. She looks more delicate with the shed layers, though he knows she's no less sharp. He moves an arm length away, reaches out to push at a lock of her hair.]
I don't think I mentioned it but you do look nice, even though you're tired.
no subject
She's just removing her earrings when she feels his light touch, making her tilt her head just a bit and looks back at him. And then she laughs.
However, her laughter doesn't sound pleased or light, one you'd expect from flattery, but instead it's heavy and almost hysterical.
Peter is really going far here, saying how 'nice' she looks even though her current appearance is more close to a harlot than a lady with her ruined make up, messy hair and stench of aftersex lingering around her. ]
Thanks, Peter. I'll be sure to pull off this "debauched" look more often around you.
no subject
Maybe it was childish of him, but he had been trying to ignore what her apparent meant.]
I didn't mean it like. You always look nice, I was just-
[Just trying to stroke her ego, just trying to be nice. Just being honest, because even at her worst he still thought she was pretty.
He steps back, handing falling back to his side. He shrugs, unable to find the right words to continue.]
no subject
It's alright.
[She mutters and drops her earrings on the table, keeping her eyes on him.]
So, now what.
no subject
But one thing's clear, she's waiting for a move he doesn't have. He shrugs, meets her gaze again.]
It's your call, J. Whatever you want.
no subject
She can read lot from such a simple sentence, probably more than what he had actually intended. There's uncertainty, trust, respect and danger present when he passes the ball to her, letting her to have the complete power and control of the situation.
However, despite being a person who's always so certain about what she wants J has difficulties with seeing the difference between that and what she really needs. And it's the same here. But while she's not sure what she wants to happen next, she knows that she doesn't want to hurt or insult his feelings anymore.
After a quick moment of silence she extends her arm towards him, expecting him to take her hand]
Come here.
no subject
He takes a few steps back toward her, grip tight on her hand.]
Yeah, J?
no subject
Thanks Peter. [For the ride. And for everything before and after that.]
no subject
You don't have to thank me, J. I mean, if it's like a thank you like that I won't turn you down. [A small laugh.] But you know I'd do whatever for you anyway.
no subject
[She winks her eye at him, obviously teasing again. But in reality it's the word 'anyway' that caught her attention. Again, she's sure that he's just running his mouth and saying things without thinking too much of the meaning behind them, most likely only trying to ingratiate her. ]
But I think that you better head back to your room now. Before others wake up.
