Who: Eggsy
commontype & Gregor
lets_see_what_happens
When: Backdated just a few days
Where: The Kvortira
What: Talking about stuff
Warnings: Kissing and general fooling around
Eggsy had needed some time. It didn't have anything to do with Gregor, he'd just needed to get his shit together.
He'd be lying if he didn't admit that the rejection had stung, though he was the type to bounce back, but it was more than that. It left him feeling like he had no fucking idea what he was doing. Eggsy was good at reading people, at least in a general sense, and he never asked anyone out that he wasn't positive they'd say yes.
That's what had got to him. He'd read it so wrong. He'd thought Gregor liked him, would want to go out with him, and when he'd said no, Eggsy felt off balance. Like something was different about himself and he couldn't read situations the way he used to. He thought that it might be because he's in space or that he'd died or all of it, but he'd assumed wrong and embarrassed them both.
Harry had helped. He'd told him to man up and given him a glass of whiskey. Then he'd shared a bit of information about a book, some coincidental names, and it didn't take Eggsy long to figure it out. Gregor was an emperor, which he was still wrapping his head around, and there was a small thread of hope that maybe that had something to do with why he'd turned Eggsy down. He wasn't sure, but he wouldn't know unless he asked. He also wanted to promise that he wasn't a snitch, just so he wouldn't worry. Especially now that Miles knew that Eggsy knew.
First things first. He knocks on the door, this time, and waits for Gregor to answer.

"Oh," he says again softly, not quite knowing how to respond to that except to tighten his grip, one hand sliding to stroke along the nape of Eggsy's neck.

He stays there a moment longer, breathing in deeply, enjoying how comfortable this all feels, and then he turns his face into Gregor's neck and kisses him. Soft, light kisses that curve up towards his ear and then down his jaw.

"They should," Gregor says, so relaxed he sounds almost drowsy, one hand smoothing down Eggsy's back then back up. "You are."

It's not his fault, at all, but Gregor's, when his body responds to it. It's not super sudden, but fast enough that Eggsy doesn't quite manage to pull his body away. Maybe Gregor won't say anything. Eggsy stops moving, shifting up further on his knees, cheeks flushed. He pushes up on his palms and abruptly rolls off Gregor, throwing an arm over his face to cover his eyes.
"For fuck's sake. Me body's actin' like it's fifteen again," he says, a touch dramatic to hide the fact that he's a little ashamed that he actually isn't as embarrassed by it as he should be.
