He's a reminder of just how banal evil can be. What a pleasant, unassuming man--aside from the fact that he single-handedly caused the implosion of an entire world.
That he's not hiding it, at least, is a point in his favour. A very, very small point. She watches him a moment or two before speaking, her voice low and flat.]
Do you regret what you did?

But he's saying it more to himself than he is to her. Some people will always think he's a monster, and if Leia does too, it won't be the first nor the last time. But he needs to not believe it. He needs to remind himself that there's a line clearly drawn between him and the Hulk, and it can't be a line traced in sand. It has to be in stone, in cement, cold and deep and unyielding.
Which is funny, in a bitter sort of way; because the Hulk can so easily crush his way through those too. ]
I do. Of course I do. [ No, not 'of course'. There's so much evil out there, so many people who would relish destroying entire worlds. But that's not him, no— it's not the Hulk, either. He doubts the beast has enough of a mind to truly enjoy any fruit of his mindless destruction. ]
Not that it changes much, does it? I can't go back, I can't... make it right, make it not happen. [ There he goes, down his spiral again. He has to stop there, clear his throat, pull himself back up before he falls down the pit of guilt and regret and endless list of 'what if's. ]

[She says it flatly, but it's true. It makes every difference in the world if he feels even the slightest bit of remorse for his actions. Tarkin didn't. Vader didn't. When it happened to Alderaan, she's not sure any of the Imperials in their little information wells bothered to look up at the sight. (Who knows? She was too transfixed by the sight of her home.)
But that's history she has no desire to discuss with someone who caused a planet to buckle in on itself and crumble.
Leia crosses her arms before her, an unintended echo of the man's defensive position.]
I'm going to leave now. [Wait. Not yet.] What's your name?

His nod is faint, more dismissive than anything, or just resigned. He lets the topic go, even if he doesn't let go of anything else. ]
I'm Bruce. Bruce Banner. [ No point in offering a fake name when they're all stuck on this ship together. Not that he would, either way. ]

[She doesn't tell him it's a pleasure to meet him, because nothing could be further from the truth. Leia can lie with the best of them, but it would only be an insult to both of them here.
Her expression is cold, her mouth set in a firm line.]
Goodbye, Bruce Banner.
[She turns to go without hesitation. There are few places that she'd like less to be on the Moira than here in his presence.]
