She conveniently leaves out the part where she shot first.
"I'd put him down if I were you, darling. Stole your face and committing dastardly acts with it! Unforgivable, really. The ultimate faux pas."
Aurelia wiggles a little uncomfortably in Clark's grip.
"...Additionally, I bid you put me down before you stretch my coat beyond repair." A beat. "The non-murder way."

"I'll take care of it," he says. Despite the edge of finality to the words, he's got no plans to kill anyone.
"If you want to seek out justice for what he did, take it up with the Captains. Try killing another member of this crew, and you'll find out that the only thing faster than your bullet is me." It's not so much a threat as a statement of fact. "Do we understand each other?"

"Put me down, I think we're finished here." she says, tone hard. It doesn't seem like this guy is gonna drop her - why go to all the trouble of threatening?

The descent is a straight drop almost as sudden as the climb, though he doesn't let go of her jacket as he pulls her down with him. He lets her go a foot or so off the ground, still hovering there in mid-air. "Let's not have this talk again."
