"Moron! He's a liar! If that was true, there'd be a lot of skeletons around!"
".... oh." Crona blushes, cheeks tinted grey with embarrassment. "I've never seen a talking skeleton before. I didn't know there were talking skeletons."
no subject
And now, to Crona: "Sorry if I scared you, I was just patellin' a little joke. This place really isn't so bad. Talking skeletons, aside."
Wink

"Ragnarok, idiot!" And he's apparently done with talking to Sans, if how he grabs an apple off his tray and shoves the entire thing into his mouth is any indication. There are pieces of apple getting all over Crona's hair. Crona's used to it.
"It means 'the doom of the gods'," says Crona. The pun gets a blink, and a wrinkled nose.
"That was... um... d-dead terrible." It's an expression that Crona had picked up from the students at the Academy, one of those 'death child' sayings that people in Death City naturally picked up. It seems like the right thing to say to a talking skeleton that just made a bad pun.

"Heh, nice." Leaning his jaw against his palm, Sans raises a brow bone. "So how're you settlin' in? Believe it or not, I'm kinda in charge of making sure you have a smooth transition. Tough break for you, kiddo."

And on that thought--
"What's the deal with your friend?"
no subject
"Ragnarok? W-we're partners. He's my blood, and my sword. Um... he's magic, s-so it's sort of... um... it's hard to explain it."

A beat.
"The blood thing, though, that's definitely new."

Crona still takes a step back, eyes wide. And then forward again, once the bone disappears.
"I haven't seen that before. You didn't use a spell, witches have to use spells. D-do you have to use spells or math?"
