"There will be no prison which can hold our movement down."

He stares uncertainly at their hand for a moment before taking it. It... kind of seems like he's not sure how holding onto someone else's hand works.

"Is your hair dyed like that? It's really pretty."
no subject
"...No? It just looks like this."
no subject
"Really? I never saw a human with hair like yours before!"
no subject
"...Yeah."
no subject
"Um...you know! I've never been in space before, it's pretty neat! I bet you can see tons more stars than in the city. Do you think our rooms are gonna have windows?"
no subject
"Yeah. Probably." He wouldn't know for sure, given that he's never been in a city.
He shrugs a little. "Maybe... dunno if that would be good or bad."

Frisk glances back to Ginko. "Did you do stargazing a lot at home?"
no subject
Ginko isn't sure whether it's likely to be more like that, or more like being left totally unable to avoid the overwhelming... there-ness of space. But he supposes he can see the appeal.
He gives a very small movement that might be a nod. "Yeah. Some."
Which is to say, yeah, he spent hours at a time just staring at the sky.

He pauses, going back over that last sentence in his head.
"...What do you mean, monsters?"
no subject
no subject
He's just stopped where he is now, staring at them in sheer confusion.
"I don't... how can they be..." He doesn't even know where to start with this, time to just pick one. "...just skeletons?"
no subject
no subject
They work differently from humans. That he can deal with. Though thinking of them like mushi makes the 'really, really nice' part a little hard to process.
"...Huh. Why... are they called monsters, then?"
no subject
"I dunno. They always have been." Frisk shrugs, then tilts their head a bit. "...where are you from, anyway? The Underground's been open for a while. I thought everyone knew."
no subject
He hesitates, looking at the ground again as he thinks. It's not like he can name a village or something, so if he's more general about it... "I'm... from Japan?"
no subject
Frisk's mouth forms into a silent O of understanding, and they laugh a little. "I guess the news didn't tell you guys bout it yet! I'm from America."
no subject
He doesn't look any less confused. What monsters? They couldn't have meant mushi - there were definitely still mushi above ground back home, and what Frisk had described didn't sound right, anyway. If this happened so long ago, why had he never heard about it?
...Maybe it was just an America thing. He didn't hear a lot of news from there, anyway (though the way they had phrased that struck him as a little odd. News is something you tell someone, after all, it doesn't do the telling).
"Maybe that's it."
no subject
Frisk was kind of hoping Sans might show up through one of his shortcuts, but he doesn't have any way of knowing just where Frisk is, now.
no subject
It makes sense that they would want to get back, if they've got a family to get to. Even if he doesn't quite understand all the monster stuff, that much is clear enough.
