[SEMI-OPEN] So I heard someone was sick

Who: Tifa Lockhart, Darin + the rest of the Lion house
When: During event stuff
Where: The Lion House.
What: Tifa just heard that Darin is sick! And now she's worried sick! What if he contaminates the whole house and hurts his roommates? Only one way to find out.
Warnings: Things are going to be silly. Very very silly

'Darin'

Tifa has been pretty much staying out of it what was going on. She finally found herself a job and didn't want to fool around for her first month! And since she was doing so well, why not bring it up with her new friend? Not to mention bringing a meal to Shiro. After their time shopping together, she was really afraid of what his diet consisted of.

'It must be soooo boring. I can't wait for him to try this!'

And Darin trying her meals. She cooked so much in her quaint apartment. She hopes he's not too sick to like it.

So here she goes. After texting Darin that she was coming over with a ~stunning~ surprise, Tifa rings the bell and waits for the warm welcome.

Wait, am I glowing?

Do I glow in the dark now?!

Oh come on that wasn't supposed to be one of the side effects!!

[He lifts his shirt up under the cloak and...yup, he's glowing.]

Aw dammit...! SHIRO!! ARE YOU GLOWING TOO?!

ohmigod you are?!

[She's grabbing his arm and looks around his home.]

Let's go to a really dark room and see. I want to see this happen!

Oh, yeah sure! Come on, let's head up to my room!

[He hurries on up to his room and draws the blinds.]

[He closes the door, kills the lights and draws back his hood and...well, sure enough, he's glowing in the dark like a six foot glow worm. It looks like his head is just floating there in the dark.]

Well, how does it look??

[She quickly follows.

Tifa doesn't examine his room that much when they enter. She's too focused on Darin's skin. And when everything is dark...he immediately glows!]

Whoa....

[Ok it is NOW dawning on her that this is not healthy.]

Have you experienced anything else abnormal besides this? I mean, this looks incredible but...really freaky.

Nah, nothing else out of the ordinary. Before I was treated I felt like I was going to die because of how sick I was feeling but now I'm just sort of waiting for this to go away.

I don't really care for the looks people kee giving me when I go out.

[Tifa leans in to hold a hand to his forehead.

Hearing his conditions and how he felt concerned her. It sounded like how some people sounded back at her home...

She reaaaally hopes this doesn't last long.]

So you don't feel like that anymore? You feel fine...I mean besides being tired? How did they treat you?

[Darin laughs a bit sheepishly.]

T-Tifa, I'm fine...really! It takes a hell of a lot more than some debilitating illness to bring someone like me down..!

And they treated me just fine. It's the people that see my glowing skin that don't really take kindly to me. I can't tell you how many fights I've been in the last few weeks. That's why I got this cloak.

They are fighting you because you're sick?!

[WTF?]

Why didn't you get me? I could have set them straight!

Technically, they were fighting me because I brought a foreign illness back from that asteroid.

Also, they didn't start the fights. They said some hurtful things...I may have punched down some walls in response...

Y'know...nothing to get bent out of shape over.

[SIIIIIIIIIIIGH]

Oh Darin. You don't have to worry about small stuff like that. You should worry about getting better.

And I'm sure you had no idea you were bringing it back. [Pause] Did you?

No way! If I knew I was bringing something dangerous back, I would have stayed on the asteroid with it!

Oh really?

Why were you on that asteroid anyway? That sounds suspicious from the start!

I hope you picked something up besides the obvious, at least.

Okay okay look, I was doing some research.

Some of the stuff they were doing on that asteroid caught my attention so I was looking into it.

I promise it's nothing bad.

[Unless you count giving tissue and blood samples so they can research a little God of Destruction 'bad.']

[Darin, don't be so trusting.]

It seems bad if you and several others got sick.

...I mean I'm not calling you bad. I'm just really upset you got caught up in that without knowing more about that mess. You could have died!

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?

And besides...I glow in the dark now! I call that a win! I mean, seriously, check this out!

[He pulls his arms out from behind his cloak and flexes them a bit, striking some poses. He's trying awfully hard to cheer her up.]

[It's not failing. She's checking him out, examining if he's getting tired just moving. But it looks as if he at least can move about some. And is trying to be a little energetic. That's nice.

Tifa still places a hand on his arm and lowers it.]

That's nice, Darin, but you don't feel odd internally?

[He blinks and looks down at her hand on his arm. He feels a little heat rush to his cheeks. Hopefully, that doesn't show on his glowing skin. Unfortunately, it kind of does. Now his cheeks take on a slight orange hue.]

Well, I'm a little weak from the sickness. Most of my insides wanted to be on the outside during that whole ordeal.

But...it's nothing that can't be solved with plenty of rest and some good food.

You worry about me too much.

I have a right to be. You're turning orange!

[She's backing off now. She's now afraid of what else to do!

Besides what she originally came out here to do.]

Speaking of, let's do that now. I'm hoping one of my meals could heal you, or at least not turn you into a rainbow.

I-I am? What?! Why?!

I don't know! Look at yourself in the mirror!

[He hurriedly looks in the mirror. Oh no. Oh no, apparently blushing is super noticeable when you glow like a night light. Quick, damage control!]

M-Maybe it's just because you touched me? I mean, it might just be a by product if the decontamination process! I bet I'm changing colors all over!

Then we should avoid contact. Maybe for the entire month until you get better.

[And if that was the case, it's time for her to be SRS BSNS.]

Let's go in the kitchen. I'm going to make you a cure-all meal.
