[open] touch has a memory
Who: Elizabeth DeWitt & Anybody on the Moira
When: October 30th
Where: The Medbay/halls of the Moira
What: Elizabeth fell into cryo somewhere around the 16th and now she's awake. Sweet criminy, why has everybody turned into different things/ohgodpleasedon'ttouchme.
Warnings: Phobias happening in here, fear of being touched, probably some unpleasant imagery related to experimentation.
When Elizabeth opens her eyes and realizes where she is, her first thought is, of course, hoping she hadn't died in her sleep or some nonsense like that. She probably wouldn't know if she had, too, until someone told her what had happened. Given the memory holes both she and Miles apparently experienced after the process, who knows what she's forgotten this time.
But she feels less... fresh. More stiff and like she's learning to move her limbs again. Had she simply been placed in stasis, then? Well, it had to happen sometime, it usually did to most people.
Elizabeth climbs out of the pod, wincing and struggling to use her muscles and noting that there didn't appear to be a medical crew coming to help. No matter, she has to get back to work anyway, there's no time to be scanned and looked over, she's probably fine.
When she comes into the main medical bay, of course someone does approach her with their hands outstretched, ready to help. It's not as abandoned as she thought it was but-- somehow that's the opposite of comforting. Elizabeth fixes her eyes on the hands coming towards her and she knocks the staff out of the way and bolts out of the medical bay. Not that she gets very far-- she's winded and her legs won't support her for very long and she has to lean against a wall to catch her breath and take stock of what just happened. It's impossible to figure out, there's no rationale that she can find when she replays the incident. Just a very deep urge to shudder and close herself off.
"Maybe I did die..." she says to herself, trying to get a grip, trying to figure out what she has to do next as she hugs herself tightly.

"There's something wrong with me, I feel like I'm about to pass out right now. Or vomit." Describe symptoms-- maybe he'll know what's going on, maybe something's been happening around the ship. "But I'm not going to let go because whatever this is-- whatever this ship is doing to me this time-- I'm not losing another person to it."
Even if her heart is going to explode if she doesn't back off soon.
