She gets into the car and gets comfortable next to him, still giving him a kind of judgy look.

It's just sort of part of how she expresses affection.

"I can tell that you're in pain."

Her point being that if nothing else he could at least get some help with that.

"Pain passes." He shrugs a little more awkward. "Nice of you to worry, but I've had worse and no access to doctors before and it never killed me."

Sure, doctors could help, but who knows what else they might do while they're at it. The technology here is even better than what's back home, so they could probably do things that Kobra can't even think of.
