On the contrary, there's plenty of reason to be nervous. It's part of the human condition, after all.

It might be a surprise to Vision himself, but Bruce doesn't really have the experiences with Ultron that the Bruce Vision knew did, so he has no reason to think at all suspiciously of him, or to have any reservations as to what or who he might be. ]

Yes. Actually they have me running the lab. [ Which isn't saying much when there are so few people working there right now, but still. ] You should come by sometime. You don't get this sort of view, but it's still a pretty nice place.

I will absolutely stop by. I look forward to it. [He says it bright and sincere. The mere idea of a lab aboard is exciting.There hadn't been a lot of time, in his short existence on earth, to devote to scientific pursuits, though he imagines he will like this lab. A clinical space, highly regulated, with everything having its own place and use, is always a nice idea.]

Do you enjoy the work? [It seems silly to ask a scientist if he enjoys doing science, but sometimes people are more complicated than they seem--you never know.] I have always imagined I would find that sort of work calming. Simpler, in a way, than so many other things. [He doesn't mean easy by that. Just...more pure. ] Don't you think?

As do I. [ Bruce honestly welcomes anyone at all who shows even minimal interest in the work that's done at the lab, and while he hadn't had much chance to talk to Vision before, he's definitely interested in learning more about him now. Which to some people might translate to studying him, but to Bruce is more like... getting to know him better, which is done no better than by spending time together. ]

I suspect it may be simpler for you than it is for me. But yes, it is... it's soothing. [ It's tangible even when it's not, it's something he understands and can explain. So many things in life that he can't make sense of, at the very least science isn't one of them. ] And I've gotten to learn about a lot of new things in these new universes, so there's that.
