"A lot of stuff has happened and I've only been here a few months. You've got your work cut out for you."

"I have no doubt that I will succeed," he replied, just a touch smug. "I was so very close before I passed on."

Well, it wasn't as if he had anything to do but this job right now, and he knew that throwing himself into it would give him a good gauge on the rest of the crew and how active they were. He could also quickly learn and implement any powers necessary to gather intelligence on those who might... cause a stir.

"Perhaps given your occupation and interest we could work together in our roles, yes?"

"Good. We could use some peace around here."

Which is exactly what they would get with him around, right? Wrong. World peace would never be achieved. Or space peace.

"That would be nice."

Or, you know, awful.

"Everyone kind of works with everyone here. Cooperation and all that."

He smiled indulgently at his little helper here, watching her closely without making it seem like he was doing any more than glancing. He was keenly aware of her.

"Cooperation makes even the most complicated task simple once broken into parts. I'm sure you already know all that."

"Pieces solving a puzzle." It's funny, she said that to Ward once. He was a jackass HYDRA agent too. She just didn't know that at the time.

"All too right," he said with a nod. "You've been wonderful assistance to me, Miss. I should let you go, but don't worry, I'm sure we'll be in touch for that proposed working together matter."

He wanted to look a little bit more into the crew after all. Things were going to get interesting faster than he anticipated.

"I'm sure we will. Hopefully you settle in quickly, it can be a bit overwhelming at first." Daisy's going to go on a private video conference as soon as she gets back to her room.

Holding her hand out with the intention of shaking his,

"I look forward to it."

"I seem to adapt well enough, but your well-wishing is appreciated." If he suspected that she was up to something, he let none of that show on his cordial expression as he watched her.

He took her hand without hesitation, giving a firm shake. "Until next time, Miss." With that, he eased away and headed off down the corridor.

[ A beat passes, Andyr chewing at his food as he watches her, as if trying to decide if he wants to pull out of that grumpy mood swing, or just go full douche. thankfully, he leans towards the former, and gives a mild shrug instead. ]

Not a lot of people here're from worlds like mine. Hard to keep in mind.

Yeah, I can imagine that's probably a good thing though. No offense.
