Closed to Lucio/Open later to medbay
Who: Pharah, Lucio, and any medbay people who want to help
When: After this
Where: Random hallway to Medbay
What: Pharah made some poor decisions
Warnings: Injury
Pharah had plenty of time to think about her poor decision as she tried to stumble back to to medbay. She should have been more on guard, shouldn't have let him get so close, shouldn't have engaged in the situation at all.
But would it have made a difference? Would he have tried to get to her anyway?
Her thoughts are disjunct, hazy, as she threatens to slip into unconsciousness. The wounds Reaper had inflicted weren't grievous, but they were calculated, precise enough to do maximum damage with minimum effort. She leans against the wall for a short break, and winds up sliding down to the ground as she starts losing her battle with blood loss. Whoever this Reaper was, he was well trained and efficient. Almost a perfect counter.

He skates along, carefully trying to make sure he doesn't lose the trail and turns on his healing beats, just so they can reach anyone in the area. It's a couple of minutes before he finally gets to Pharah, skidding to a stop and immediately offering some support for her.
"Hey, ma'am. It's okay, I've got you. Headed to the medibay, right? Can you tell me what happened?"
no subject
"Medbay." She confirms, leaning heavily into him and trying to get her feet under her. "Reaper. Reaper happened." She's trying to think back, to recall the exact moments so she can make a more proper report, but everything is getting dark and hazy and it's hard enough focusing on the present.
no subject
"Okay, alright," he says, trying to help her push her feet into a standing position. The height difference makes it a little hard, but his skates give that extra boost that pushes it past impossible. "I'll help you there. What's your name, ma'am?"
no subject
Reaper is going to be in a lot of trouble but Pharah isn't about to confront him alone - at least, not without her armor on. For now she tries to focus on waking and breathing.
"Pharah. Code name Pharah. Rank ... captain." She tries to give a side long glance at her Savior but the angle hurts to turn her neck so much. She gives up on that endeavor. "You sound familiar."
no subject
Quite terrible circumstances, actually.
"We should meet up once you've been discharged from the medibay, yeah? I hear the observation deck is nice."
no subject
"Lúcio." It sounds familiar. It's bugging her she can't place it. He's still talking, though so she has to focus on that.
"It is ... I've been there once." It's a struggle, but it's also a nice distraction. "We will go once I'm ... better."
no subject
He's saying almost complete nonsense now, but if she's answering and not passing out, then that's all that matters. Lúcio ignores the soft thrum of anxiety pressing at his own chest in favour of using his MID to make sure they're going the right way. Hands free, aw yeah
"I'm just going to turn my healing beats up a little, okay? They should help the pain go away. I just hope you like my music too!" He laughs, awkwardly but. He's trying.

She's struggling, she's definitely a fighter, but she is fading. Reaper wasn't joking about leaving a message; she's trailing it all down the hall.
"Phoenix, maybe, or Horsehead." Trying to think of galaxies they might recognize, trying to will herself awake. Once thing does finally dawn on her through the haze; Lúcio, music, beats --
"You're - you're that DJ ... "
no subject
Lúcio pointedly doesn't look back down the hall.
"We're almost there, okay? You got real far on your own. Just another couple minutes. What other galaxies do you know? Have you heard of the...uh, the Spindeck nebula?" He says, saying the first thing that comes to mind.

Open - medibay
[When it gets to be too much, she sifts through the mid posts as a distraction. She knows she needs to warn her friends about Reaper, but she can't quite bring herself to compose the message, not yet. She didn't want to give him the satisfaction of having succeeded, in using herself as a warning. So, she'll sleep and focus on recovering and once she's back in armor, she'll stand a better chance against him.]
no subject
he's delighted that he's present when she finally does. leaning carefully on the edge of the cot, he smiles at her.]
Hey, captain. You sleep well?
no subject
I guess ... I'm going to figure out what was a dream and what was real. [She feels weak, hey neck hurts, and she only had vague snippets of memory to go off of. She gives Lúcio a sheepish look, not quite remembering their previous conversation.] Were you there?
no subject
[he figures she wouldn't remember and would want to know what happened.]
Ratchet fixed you up. He's the big robot guy. Not an omnic, if you can believe.
no subject
I wouldn't have minded if he was. [She glanced thankfully over at him, then turns back to Lúcio.] You called me captain so I must have given you some kind of introduction. I'm Fareeha Amari.
[She has so many questions, he knows Omnics so he must be from her world, who was this Reaper and why does she feel like she was targeted?] He has these ... metal gauntlets ... the fingertips, they were like daggers ... [She teaches up to gingerly touch the managed on her neck. It's tender.]
no subject
[lúcio winces when she touches the bandage.]
He's a person? I don't know anything about him, haven't heard anything either.
Nice to meet you again, Fareeha. I'm Lúcio.
no subject
[She pulls her hand away from her neck - no, he's right, better leave it be.] I don't know if he's actually a man. He was wearing a full cloak and a mask; I couldn't see his face.
[She dwells on it a little longer, then smiles back at Lúcio.] Thank you, for helping me.
no subject
No problem, Fareeha. I'm just glad you're okay now. How are you feeling? I can get you a drink or anything if you need it.
no subject
I don't feel good, but I'll live. [That's the important part, right?] A water would be nice.
[Because her throat took a beating and sitting up and talking isn't really helping any. She settles back against the pillows, quietly chastising herself for letting this happen.]
Lúcio, promise me you'll stay away from him.

Hey, darlin'.
[ He speaks softly, kneeling by her cot. ]
What's going on? Are you in quarantine?
[ A half-joke. ]

[Pharah wasn't quite sleeping, starting quietly into the distance while she half-listened to Lúcio's radio station to pass the time. Hearing Jesse, she turns to look at him. Her gut twists to a point of nausea, but she tries to smile through it - tries not to let on that she's as bad off as she is.]
[Some things, though, she can't hide: the bandages around her neck, the bruising peeking just around the edges, or the pallor to her skin.]
If I said yes, would you make me soup?
no subject
He smiles at her, reaching to take her hand. ]
Sure thing. Whatever kind you like.

Ain't spinnin' no yarn til you tell me yours, Fareeha.

[She looks at him, her smile faltering. She looks at their hands, taking his in both of hers, kissing it, and holding it against her cheek. She doesn't want to bring anyone to harm, doesn't want to fall into Reaper's plan to be a message. But, she also wants comfort and confirmation they're here for each other like they were in the past.]
[In the end, her instincts to protect him win out.]
I can't tell you.
no subject
Sweetheart, you can tell me anythin'. Can't you?
[ Truthfully, she doesn't need to tell him. The possibilities here were not endless. But he'd like it if she trusted him, still. ]
