Who: Tarn and Starscream (DW)
When: Backdated to the end of June
Where: their shared quarters
What: Roommate spat of the century
Warnings: raised voices, attempted and failed spark snuffing, mentions of violence probably
Tarn has been, for the most, avoiding Starscream. Other than the occasional and fleeting terse interaction within their quarters, he is entirely happy to keep it that way. Starscream's blatant and utter disrespect for Tarn and his belongings borderlines upon absurd and quite honestly suicidal. He’s never met anyone that seems so desperate to land themselves on his list.
He isn’t surprised that as he enters their shared quarters Starscream is reclining on his side of the room. What does get him is the disarray that his First Edition copies of Towards Peace seem to have fallen into. Tarn growls , stomping over to the heap of greyed corpses lying on his side of the room.
“What have I told you about respecting my possessions?” The question is snapped as he bends down to collect and hang each one back in its proper place. It isn’t until he picks up the second miner that he notices something is amiss. The majority of the fingers on one of his pieces are completely missing. Rage wholly consumes Tarn as he, whips around to confront his roommate.
“What is this.” he asks stabbing a finger in the direction of the miner in question. “What have you done?”

Besides, anyone who keeps Megatron bodies is just asking for it.
He looks up rather nonchalantly at Tarn's question, seemingly rather unphased by the level of annoyance radiating towards him.
"What makes you think I did anything?"
He responds with a shrug, but mostly does not move from his reclining position.

"You're the only one with access to this room!" Tarn crossed their quarters in a flash, optics burning brightly with rage. His voice loweres, in a threatening attempt at striking his spark. "Who else could it possibly be, Starscream, please tell me. I would love to know."

"I don't know. Maybe one of them crawled out and decided to have a snack," he responded with a wide gesture towards what appeared to be a fish tank in the room.
Inside were many small (well small to a Cybertronian, to a human not so much) piranacons (okay so that picture is sharkticons but they look like that only much much smaller), who were on one side of the tank just staring at the two of them. Any gesture the seeker made (or even Tarn for that matter) is intently followed as they were all hoping something would just stick their hand in the water.

More importantly, why hadn't Starscream flinched at the tug on his spark? It only makes Tarn press harder, craving the sound of his pain.
"I hardly think that is the case." His hand shoots forward to wrap around Starscreams throat.

"And what would I gain from touching your toys?" His response is followed by a smirk.
He's reminded a bit of Megatron as this is an all too familiar dance. Only Tarn seemed a little easier to taunt.
The voice thing is weird though and Starscream gets this feeling he should work around an arm to shoot Tarn in the face at the next opportunity. He just needed the right angle to not miss and get his head ripped off in response.

"I don't know what it is that you desire from me. Maybe it's some sort of warped death-wish, but you seem to greatly enjoy being on the recieving end of my ire." Tarn's voice lowers to a mere whisper, a pitch that would have a normal mech's spark shriveled down to a mere thread. He's done playing games.
He'll show Starscream what one gets for crossing the Commander of the Decepticon Justice Division.
"I'll have your spark for this, Starscream."

"You might want to work on your approach. I think Megatron still has you beat in the threats department. But I guess I can't expect much from a certified fanboy."
Starscream almost made a remark about how irresistible he is and that's why Tarn is getting all close. But knowing his luck that might actually be the case and just the thought was revolting. Ugh. Tarn cooties.

"Why aren't you screaming? Die, damn you!" The last thing he needs right now is Starscream's unflappable snark. Tarn gives him a bit of a shake, the sharp tips of his fingers digging cruelly into his throat cabling.
"You feel it don't you? that nagging feeling deep within your spark?" Wow Tarn you're really not helping your case here. Way to sound like a creepy weirdo. "I'm an outlier, you see. Weaponized conversation is what they call it. As I lower my voice, the listeners spark is meant to fall into step..."

Oh boy was this growing increasingly disturbing. What is wrong with this guy?
"What I feel is the need to sterilize my entire chassis. You're insane! I know I'm the ideal mech in terms of looks and whatnot but you really must contain your lust. This is getting weird."
Weaponized conversation? Starscream assumed that was something along the lines of people just wanting to shoot themselves after being forced to listen to one of Shockwave's speeches.
In truth he did feel something in his spark, like a tug or pull but he was being made so uncomfortable in this moment he wasn't sure if it was just that or not.

"Lust? Do you-- Do you think I'm hitting on you?" Tarn sounds downright disgusted. "I'm trying to kill you, you narcissistic git!"
This isn't working. This isn't working and has begun to get downright embarrassing. Has the fools energon taken his ability to manipulate sparks, somehow?
Suddenly Tarn's prized first editions are the least of his concerns.
Dropping Starscream, he takes a few steps back, putting space between them. He had put his all into that attack, and yet here Starscream remained, completely alive to his utter defeat.
"I don't understand... That has never failed."

Finally the moment Starscream has been waiting for. Tarn let him go and backed away. Without further comment, he raised his arm and fired off a blast right at Tarn's head.
The funny thing about the nullray was that while it's Starscream's main and most frequently used weapon, it is also one of the least lethal. If it connected, and Starscream hoped it did, it should drop Tarn like a rock. The weapon effectively and normally shuts down the power to a Cybertronian's processor like an EMT blast. It only lasts a few minutes but that'd be enough time for Starscream to make a dramatic escape.

Starscream is lucky today.]

[Starscream gestures back at the piranacons who look very excited that something seems dead on the floor. And yes, he normally talks to people's unconscious bodies.]
But alas. I suppose accidents can happen in the future though. But don't worry, I'll leave you a parting gift.
[He doesn't have long, so he makes it quick. Grabbing the first editions, he piles them on top of Tarn. If he had more time, he'd pose them terribly, but since he doesn't, he makes haste and snatches his few belongings and moves out the door. He needs to get far away for when Tarn wakes up.
People usually get very angry after being shot in the face.]
