Who: Clara Oswald & Kylo Ren
When: 19th
Where: Cargo Bay
What: Clara has a tizzy when she gets a special delivery
Warnings: lots of anger and emotion. emotions are hard
[Furious doesn't even begin to describe what she's feeling. She had been so excited when she heard word that she had something waiting for her in the cargo bay, and had thought it was something silly or fun. But the second she spotted the top of the familiar blue police box, her heart had been filled with hope. Only to swing open the doors to what she assumed was the TARDIS to find that it was nothing more than an empty little phone box. Completely average, annoyingly small on the inside as well as the outside, and lacking her wayward Time Lord.
She thinks it's understandable that she felt taunted and that sending her a gift like this was only meant to insult and provoke her. She's been searching so hard for the stupid police box, and sure enough, one has turned up. Just not the right one. And if she had been sad earlier in the month at the realization that the TARDIS wasn't showing up here, having this fake copy show up sets her off into a rage.
So in her fit of upset and anger she lashes out at what's been given to her, slamming the doors shut and beating at them with both fists as she cries. She doesn't remember a time when her anger's ever felt so directed at one something in particular, and in a poor choice of attempting to work out why she's so small and angry she gives the police box a shove in an attempt to knock it over. ]
Go on! Go away, clear off!
[The police bock rocks back a little, then falls forward, bumping against her forehead. It only pisses her off more. Of course the stupid thing can't even manage to disappear on her. It's a useless, ordinary box.]
You go away, do you hear me? Go away and don't come back!
[She so desperately wants the real TARDIS complete with the Doctor and a way out of here that she feels momentarily willing to do anything to get it.]

It's not an accident. He doesn't turn a corner. Kylo Ren senses—he's swayed by—the rawness of her anger, the piercing shock of it. That he was on his way to the cargo bay himself doesn't matter: he finds her.
Kylo approaches, stops before he becomes part of the scene. Still, silent, almost respectful, he absorbs what's happening in front of him. Their last conversation she'd yielded nothing of herself, and here she is. ] What is that? [ It's flat, barely a question. He doesn't look at her as he asks. He doesn't need to. ]

It's what the outside of my friend's spaceship looks like. It's supposed to be bigger on the inside, you know.
[Her usual playful tone is muddled, coming across completely flat with an edge of bitterness. Because oh, she is so very bitter right now. And to try and explain why, she opens the door to the phone box, revealing...nothing but the inside of what's essentially just a wooden crate. The level of her anger rises drastically when her eyes look it over.]
But this place, whoever's responsible for this, just sent a shell. It's utterly useless, and I'm still trapped.
[And she hates it because of it. So she tries shoving it over once again, only to have it budge very little. It's not her fault she's so small and it's so large and stupid.]
