The Ingress has pulled you in. Your body experiences several sensations at once: being pushed forward as if a hand is resting on your back, momentary and startling blindness, a gentle ringing in your head. You have difficulty discerning whether it is hot or cold, but where you have been prodded is noticeably warmer than the rest of you. Some may suffer from dizziness while others are perfectly fine. Once equilibrium has been reestablished, you will notice you are standing on a long platform and that the room is filled with a soft cerulean light. It's slightly humid and dark despite the glow around you, and various machines line the walls on either side, though they are not accessible from where you stand. Shortly after, you are led out and toward the medbay.
Inside this room, you are given a physical scan and sign a contract that states you are now part of the crew of the Moira with a specific job. This process consists of a complete work-up of medical history and current health, and afterwards, you are given your MID, a device that is integrated into your hand with only the slightest pinch. From there, you are guided out of the medbay and to your living quarters.
MERO DECK ● NOMO DECK ● MORO DECK
☄ Due to the circumstances of Caducus Primary, the captains appear abnormally absent. Unlike before, they will not be seen or heard from after processing the newest members of the crew. They can still be contacted via their MID devices for emergencies only, but otherwise, they have retreated to their rooms and clearly do not want disturbed. They are displeased with the events and will be less accommodating in regards to resources and rank privileges. In fact, they may feel less like a privilege and more like a punishment.

☄DRUM THRUM THUD
Reverberations of what has happened to Caducus Primary are still being felt despite having left the chaos behind. After the initial influx of new crew, there seems to be the occasional flicker of the power all throughout the Moira—like a pulse, a breath. Do the shadows move, or is it just a trick of the light? Several hours pass, and a message flashes across all MIDs. It is labeled urgent and comes directly from Thán; however, any responses will be automatically rejected.
Our ship has sustained minor outer damage, and the systems are fluctuating as they reboot themselves individually. Take care of darker areas, and travel with other crew if you need to leave your room.
Crew safety is severely stressed this month, especially after what's occurred, and anyone in need of medical attention is to report to the Medbay posthaste. Yet, the crew may soon realize it's not only the power that appears to be having issues as the days progress in their travels.

☄IN THE FRIDGE
From the 3rd on, things start to grow a bit chilly. With current power issues, a problem that even those in areas responsible for its function cannot seem to solve, there has been a steady decline of less vital life support systems. It soon grows cold enough that sections of the ship that house any sort of water systems may find them slowly freezing over, and even showers don't seem as warm as they should be. ( Those in Mero Deck may find their communal bathroom a rink. ) In the mess hall, late in the evening after all shifts are finished, several pipes rupture and create particles of ice (snow) and a solid slippery sheet across the entirety of the floor. Melting it may be a temporary solution, but as there is no way to keep the water in its liquid form, it might be inadvisable to try more than once.
Other areas of the ship are also open to exploration, though they may be affected by the power and temperature changes as well. Please advise the captains' warning.

Uh... [ Making a vague gesture to his armour now. ] Wasn't planning on it.
[ Sure, he could go swimming in his armour. It's space-proof so obviously it's also waterproof, but it's not really meant for swimming. He'd sink to the bottom, no doubt, and have an impossible time getting back out.
He could also strip down, but he's only got underwear on underneath the black underarmour suit that holds the actual armour in place, and wearing just that...would be pretty awkward. So he'll opt for standing around, maybe watching. ...Or is that awkward, too? ]
You go right ahead, though. Maybe I'll join you another time.

[He points at the gear. Eggsy's more curious than anything else.]
Or is it just a fuss to take it all off?
[He thinks the armor is kind of awesome. Eggsy, though he's not outright trying to hide his arm and how it's lacking a hand, bends his arm at the elbow and angles it behind his back.]
It'd be fuckin' borin' to swim alone, so maybe you'd like some company instead?
no subject
[ Wash shrugs sheepishly and smiles a little, though it can't be seen through his helmet's visor. He appreciates the offer of company, actually, because this whole "exploring the ship" thing is a little lonely. He could use someone he can pester with questions about the place. ]
Sure. I mean, if you really don't mind giving up your swim, some company would be good. I'm, uh. I'm new around here, so.
[ Yeah, like that last part wasn't obvious, Wash. ]
no subject
[Well, honestly, it really could, because crazy shit happened all the time around here, but Eggsy was pretty optimistic that it would still be around.]
I'm Eggsy.
[He sticks out his good arm so they can shake his hand if they want to.]
They should give out a welcome pamphlet or somethin', with the way new people show up all the time. If you've got questions, I can try to help ya out.
no subject
[ Wash smiles a little wider and reaches out to take Eggsy's good hand, giving it a shake. He continues to not comment on the lack of a hand on the other arm--he's seen worse injuries at home before, so it doesn't really phase him much. ]
Wash. Well, technically Agent Washington, but Wash is easier to go by around here.
[ A shrug. There's not much point to the "agent" bit around here, anyway, since Project Freelancer is non-existent here. ]
You mind if I ask how long you've been here? I'm kind of curious about the length of time we should expect to be stuck here, you know?
no subject
[An agent. That was unexpected, but he's not sure if it means the same thing to him as it does to someone from another place. At least, he thinks he's from another place considering the gear here's wearing.]
Um, about four months, yeah? [He grimaces, because he doesn't think they'll like his answer.] I don't know, but it doesn't look like it'll be over soon.
We're sort of travelin' along towards this planet to get the Ingress fixed. Can't go home until we do, but the captain's have never said how long til we get there.
no subject
[ Can't forget his manners. Hearing Eggsy's response though, is admittedly a little disheartening. He's been here four months already and there's no end in sight yet? That's... Well, not what Wash had been hoping for.
If he's here for four months (or god forbid, longer), he's going to miss his teammates pretty badly... Hell, he misses them already. ]
Right. That's... [ sucky ] disappointing. But maybe it won't be too many months longer? It can't hurt to stay optimistic. Then again, if they haven't said anything about how long off it is, that probably means we don't want to know the answer...
no subject
[Eggsy shrugs. The fact that a bunch of people from all over, who didn't know what was going on, and weren't sure how long they'd be here all crammed together in relatively small areas made it really fucking stressful. He was doing alright with it, but with the way things had been going lately, he's surprised nobody has done anything really stupid to alleviate that stress.]
I'm thinkin' we could make the trip faster if we was all more organized. Less time on planet, quicker, but then everyone needs to have their fun or they'd be miserable. So less time on stops probably wouldn't be good.
no subject
[ Wash sort of mimics Eggsy's shrug, but only with one shoulder to sort of show his agreement and commiseration. He remembers some fights that almost broke out when things got all tense and people had been on board for too long, and how morale hit a general low. Or at least, how attitudes tended to be much...snippier. ]
And, I mean, less time on planets might make a speed difference, but honestly? I think it'd be practically unnoticeable. There's not much you can do to increase the speed of space travel, that's just...kind of the way it is. [ His voice is slightly apologetic, as his his hidden expression. ] So yeah, probably better to not take away the time off the ship from people.
no subject
[He knew what Washington was saying made sense. Eggsy didn't think it'd be good if anyone started to feel cooped up at all.]
So, look. I don't mean to be weird or anythin', but what do you look like.
[Eggsy grimaces a little, cheeks flushing slightly. He wasn't trying to be rude, but anybody could wear that exact suit and Eggsy would think it's Wash. That made him nervous.]
Just gotta be careful you know. If I need to know it's you, I can see the face under all that helmet and be like, yeah, that's Wash and know what I'm talkin' about cause I've seen it.
no subject
Oh! Yeah, no, I get it-- Don't worry. Hang on.
[ Lifting his hands to his helmet, he presses his thumbs into the clasps on either side and, with a hiss of air, he pulls the thing off, revealing his face. He's young, clearly in his early twenties, with slightly mussed brown hair, blue-grey eyes, and dark bags beneath them that indicate he hasn't been sleeping so well. But other than that, he looks healthy. ]
How's that? Now you know my face, so you'll be able to recognize me no matter what.
[ Friendly, hopeful that he's been helpful smile. ]
no subject
Well, nice to meet ya officially then. Face to face, bruv.
[He winks at Wash, then nods towards the helmet.]
What do you do with all that gear? Is it for fightin' or flyin' or what?
no subject
You too.
[ But then his attention is drawn back down toward his helmet. His smile remains, but it wanes slightly--not for any bad reason, but talking about his work doesn't always warrant a bright grin is all. ]
A little of both, sort of. Mainly fighting, but it's sealed so I can go into space and I have used a jetpack out there in the past.
no subject
[Eggsy readjusts the towel on his shoulder, then points to a couple lounge chairs.]
I ain't sayin' you're heavy, but does all that armor mean you can't take a seat with me.
no subject
[ Wash can't help but smile a little brighter. He always likes it when people think he's cool
Glancing over to the chairs though, he nods. ]
They look like they should be able to support me. [ Laughing a little now. ] Guess we'll find out.
[ With that, he moves toward the lounge chairs Eggsy's pointed to and, at first, takes a tentative seat on the edge of one. When he doesn't break it, he sets more of his weight on it and, while it creaks, it seems to be able to hold him, so he relaxes some. ]
Looks like it should work. So, uh, what do you do? Or--did you do before you wound up here, I mean.
no subject
[Eggsy thought he looked pretty bad ass in all that armor.]
Eh, if it breaks, we'll just duct tape it and slip outta here real quiet like.
[He follows Wash to the chairs, watching closely as he sits down, settling onto one of his own with his legs kicked out after he sees that it holds.]
I'd actually just started a new job, first real job. Didn't get to do it much before showin' up here.
[Eggsy shrugs, he was on his way home.]
Worked for a tailor.
no subject
The actual answer, however, surprises him. And this shows in his movements, as he pauses, kind of staring at Eggsy. ]
...A tailor? Really? No offence or anything, but you don't seem like the type.
