mavari
[He's never really understood the appeal of beaches and relaxing, although he does try. He finds some appropriately green and gold shorts, a thinner and lighter shirt, tries sitting out on the beach with a book. His expression varies between bemused and mildly disgusted, not entirely sure what people find fun about this; it's just sandy and he could be more comfortable back on the ship, and it's not like he ever starts tanning anyway, or like he can really swim. He certainly isn't heading out to the snow, though.
He does appreciate the opportunity to go shopping though, considering all the things he doesn't have. He loads up on comfort clothes, baggy jeans and hoodies, only stopping once or twice to look at anything dressier- although he does end up buying a couple of dresses, just because he can. And although he stops once or twice to look at assorted bits of furniture or paintings... those, he leaves behind every time.]

for Billy
But when he does wake up, Loki is right there. Billy is a little cold from being frozen, sure, but not the dead-cold Loki remembers all too well, and they are right above somewhere warm. Without all that much explanation, Loki gets them down to the surface, tugging Billy with him.
Once down there, stood on one of the many shopping streets, waving a hand at the shops either side of them. The other is still holding onto Billy's, the way it has been pretty much since Billy woke up.]
Our stop for the month, apparently. It's probably a rotting nest of scum and villainy under the surface, but at least for now we have unlimited funding and a little time to relax.
[He turns to give Billy a faint smile.]
And some time. I've missed that.

Getting practically carried off was even better, and dragged off to what was apparently a very nice vacation. He didn't trust it at all, but on the surface... well, it was nice and warm, and Loki hasn't let go of him hardly at all. He smiles to himself after a moment and shakes his head as he follows.]
So, what do you want to do first? And-- don't turn it into some sexual innuendo. That waits until we get a room to ourselves.
no subject
[He looks Billy over, very obviously, and smiles a little wickedly. Teasing and innuendo has always been part of things between them, and he isn't about to give it up.
Still, for now, he starts walking along the street. If Billy just wants to spend a little time together, they can do that too.]
I thought perhaps we might just have a look, for now. There are far too many shops here, so who knows? Perhaps we can even find you something covered in stars.
no subject
[He gives a playful look of his own, nudging at Loki.] Guess we do have time to make up for...
[And Billy is kind of enjoying the attention and the looks a lot...]
We don't have to go looking for star covered things, you know, but sightseeing might be fun.
no subject
[Whilst he can enjoy Billy's company, in a relatively stress-free environment, with no-one to care what they get up to. For now, though, they have a fairly relaxed day ahead of them, and Loki intends to enjoy that, too.]
Oh, really? Don't think I haven't noticed how much you adore covering yourself in stars, Wiccan.
no subject
[He's not protesting making up for lost time at all especially not right now. He leans in a bit closer to Loki, letting their shoulders brush together.]
Well, I do like it, yeah. But it's not necessary or anything if there's something else you'd like to look at.
no subject
[He gives Billy a sideways look, and after a long pause, adds more quietly-]
It isn't quite the same any more if you're not there.
[For now, though, he lets himself be pleased that Billy is there, happy with the company, nudging back at Billy.]
I have you to look at. Anything else pales in comparison.
no subject
[His expression is more apologetic when he looks at Loki next time and he leans into him lightly, staying there.]
But I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere.
[He huffs out a laugh though, and nudges at Loki.]
Flatterer. But it's totally working, so.
no subject
[It's actually rather troubling, how used to Billy's company he is. Still, he wouldn't give it up if he didn't have to. He leans in as well, feeling Billy's warmth bleed through his sleeve, as always the comforting reminder that they're still alive. Relaxing, he gives Billy a grin.]
Should I carry on, then? Tell you you'd outshine any star you care to name?
[Outrageous flattery he can do.]
no subject
[His hand slides into Loki's, fingers slotting together as they walk in reassurance.]
Okay, now you're lying it on way too thick. I take it back, not working!
no subject
[He doesn't know Billy won't leave, after all. The gate could take one or the other of them back to Midgard, or bring Teddy here. Or there are a thousand other reasons Billy might leave, some of them very good ones indeed. But Billy isn't the kind to just leave for no reason, at least.]
But I do get to see a lovely smile on a very pretty face, so it's done its job, at least.
no subject
[And he doesn't really want to leave here, not if there's even a chance he could go back to hell. Whatever they face here, it's still better than the underworld by a long shot.
He nudges at Loki, playful.]
Don't be a dork!
no subject
[Billy is tenacious, for a start, and doesn't let go easily. Loki appreciates it, most of the time, but sometimes he's a little worried at how attached Billy seems to be to him. He just isn't about to discard something he wants, not when it comes with someone who wants him.
After a moment he stops, tugging Billy to the side of the street, leaning down to kiss him.]
I make no apologies for finding you attractive, or for telling you.
no subject
It is nice to hear, I'm not going to lie.
no subject
[He reaches up, cupping Billy's cheek, smiling back. It's not often Billy actually relaxes this much, so they should make the most of it.]
As rare as those are, I intend to do whatever I can to keep you this cheerful.
no subject
[Loki isn't the only one who can flirt, badly. He turns his head to press his lips to Loki's palm lightly.]
Then, sightseeing, shopping, and a comfortable bed later on...
no subject
[He still finds Billy's gestures strange, sometimes, but he'd missed them when he couldn't have them. When all he could touch was cold glass...]
A late night, and a very late morning, then? How long has it been since one or the other of us didn't need to get up?
no subject
[He gives a playful grin.]
Too long, I think. I'm looking forward to it.
no subject
[He leans in one more time, lips curled up in a smile, before he wraps his hand back around Billy's wrist, tugging him down the street again.]
I've missed being able to just stay in bed with you.
no subject
Sometimes it's nice to be spoiled a little, after all.]
We can stay in bed for as long as you want, Loki.
no subject
[He smirks, looking just a little smug- but mostly, he's just pleased to see Billy looking so enthusiastic. Alive, in every sense of the word.]
With room service, we could probably stay there a day or two, you know.
no subject
[He shrugs his shoulders, giving a teasing look.]
And you promised me shopping and sightseeing first. [He gives Loki a look though.]
Maybe you can have a kiss or two in the dressing room though.
For Thor
It's a relief to hear he's woken up, frankly, and almost as soon as he can find some free time, he turns up at Thor's door, drags him down to the beach planet below, to a slightly quieter bar.]
If you really are anything like my brother, you won't object to a quick drink, will you?
[It's a rhetorical question, and a challenge. If Thor is insisting on playing his brother, this shouldn't be a big deal, should it? Even if the other Loki is here now too...]
no subject
[Thor, in truth, is surprised to find Loki showing up for anything like a drink... to see that he wants to spend time with him. He had gotten the impression that Loki wasn't interested in him, in sharing any sort of close connection, when they spoke last.
But he isn't going to turn it away, not now.]
no subject
[He gives Thor a slightly guilty glance, before shrugging. He'd hated going drinking with Thor, the first time they were young, but- he supposes it's not so bad, now.]
There's always time for a beer, I suppose.
no subject
And-- ah well, Loki is right. There is always time for a beer.]
Perhaps they have a proper drink here, one fit for men such as we. It is the one thing Midgard is lacking in...
no subject
[He reaches up and around, pulling a bottle from the air, giving Thor a rather more conspiratorial smile.]
The ship did deliver me a handful of bottles of Asgardian liquor. We can spice up their beer a little.
no subject
I do enjoy your mischief at times... have I told you that, brother?
[When it's the harmless, amusing kind at least.]
no subject
[But he keeps smiling. Like this it's almost familiar, almost like being with his brother again- and all the easier for this Thor having never met his child self.]
But with all these alien species around, perhaps it will be unnecessary.
no subject
[He feels that should be stressed, at least, lest Loki take it as permission to go off and show more severed heads and the like.]
Do you have an idea of where to go? Or do we see where the night will take us?
no subject
[He says it with a mix of faked pity and genuine amusement. If Thor wants to play older brother, Thor will have to put up with Loki in full younger brother mode.]
Not as such, no. I'm not sure my recent choice of drinking establishment is the same as yours. I'll let you pick first, and I'll pick second.
no subject
[He doesn't mind younger brother mode at all. It's familiar enough at least. He gives a bit of an amused grin as he starts to look around, trying to decide where to go.]
Then it will indeed be a long night. Come then.
no subject
[He relaxes, hands in his pockets, casually dressed in hoody and trousers, although he's still wearing his boots. There's little point trying to look imposing next to Thor anyway, and if anything really wants a go at them- well, he does have someone he can literally hide behind.]
A challenge of endurance, is it? I'm sure the winner is most likely already decided, but we'll see.
