Toriel snorts faintly at that, Nick earns himself an amused kind of smile. "Thankfully he hasn't hit that stage of his life yet." Though Toriel doesn't mind the thought of seeing Asriel turn into a teenager, emotional chaos or not.

"Given some time you can always transfer to a new job. Some people do end up in the wrong places from time to time." She offers in turn, "A friend of mine did as such since his job was more based on what he was opposed to his interests."

She smiles at the question, clearly more than happy to discuss her job. The boss monster is clearly enthused to say the least. "I am underage crew caretaker, I help care for the children aboard the ship. It usually means I make sure they are fed and attempt to go to school."
