[ Lois wasn't typically someone who could be considered a girly girl, but she also didn't tend to look a gift horse in the mouth. And considering the fact that she'd just woken up to find out that Clark was gone, she could use some retail therapy that wasn't out of her own pocket. She'd grown accustomed to a certain style back home - a certain amount of comforts that she could afford... So she's just gonna take some time to remedy that while seeing what other things they might have book-wise on this planet and others.
At least, that's the theory. Don't mind her while she pages through very professional and not at all fun looking outfits on the screen with something of a dismal look. No point in looking at fun outfits when the idea of dating wasn't exactly on her radar. It felt wrong spending money that wasn't hers if she actually took the time to think about it because money always came from somewhere. She'll come around eventually, though, and look at it as a cost for kidnapping her. Just not right now.
No, right now, she's gonna walk away for a minute and then walk back to the screen and then walk away again - black heels clicking on the flooring all the while as she mutters under her breath. ]
This is ridiculous.
B.E.A.C.H! :
[ Someone fails at relaxing. That someone happens to be a 5'4" redhead who's sitting on the beach with a laptop, definitely ignoring the view. She'd done as requested, got off the ship and got some fresh air... She'd even gone shopping. Lois doesn't pay much attention to everyone around her, fingers silently moving over the touchpad keyboard - grateful that it doesn't make the annoying clacking sound a regular one makes.
Taking a sip of the drink next to her, there's a sound of surprise and slight disgust. Guess who doesn't normally do fruity drinks. ]
Maybe they'll put the umbrella in a glass of scotch.
[ It's more a musing to herself, but it's still aloud - used to voicing her thoughts rather than staying entirely in her head. ]
-------------
[ Much later into the evening, she can be found on one of the ships exploring the bioluminescent fish and maybe even trying to chat with a few locals. It's an amazing opportunity to see something new and to learn. Something she has a hard time letting go of when it comes to just naturally enjoying an experience. This was one of the moments where she was grateful life could still surprise her. Show her something far more positive than what she normally sees back home. ]
Wildcard :
[ Feel free to find her aboard the Moira around 5/31 and 6/1 after waking up from cryo or down on the Collective shopping, lounging on a beach, trying new things, maybe even getting one of the facials or chilling in the mud bath and being really awkward about it. ]
