Who: Liquid Snake and anyone else!

Where: The Moira, The Collective
What: Catch-all log for mask plot to keep the worst of it out of people's resort fun, since it's a little heavy for beach episode. There was a spooky mask on Liquid's bed and now stuff's freaking him out.
Warnings: Spooky mask plot, paranoia, violence, bad memories, potential PTSD and POW and brainwashing mentions
[1. the painted faces on the street]
Liquid ended up hanging the mask up on the wall by his bed. Why not? He doesn't actually have much use for it otherwise.
So things start out slow, because of course they do. Things out of the corner of his eye. Thoughts of things that have happened in the past. It's a strange place to start remembering all the bad things, but he doesn't let it bother him.
That's what he thinks, anyway.
There's a voice that sounds familiar, but when he turns, the person nearby isn't who he thought. "Did you say something?"

The beach is supposed to be a nice place. A relaxing place. Maybe the sand reminds him a little of the desert but with the water right there it can't be mistaken as such, so he should be fine. He's not wearing his swim trunks, though. He's walking through the sand fully dressed, like he's got too much on his mind but nothing to do.
When he hears someone come up behind him he jumps to his feet and turns around, pulling a knife out in about as fluid a motion as he can manage in this state. He looks absolutely ready to kill.
[3. knock on doors and empty halls]
What has he been doing? Why has he been behaving here? He's got his second chance, so why isn't he destroying everything and everyone he can get his hands on? His brother's here. His father's here. They might not have made themselves known but he's just certain the Patriots are here. The Iraqi government? Hell, they might even be here.
He needs to get his revenge. He's earned it. Revenge for himself, revenge for his team, revenge for everything that was taken from him at every step of the way.
Of course he's mostly sneaking through the halls of the ship, holding a knife, a gun and several other knives concealed under his coat. He's muttering to himself, and half the time he can't even be startled because it's like he's on the hunt for something.
