Who: Tarn and Meh Yewll

What: Tarn wakes up in the medibay after being defeated by Megatron
Warnings: mentions of past tense violence and torture. irritability. loud voices.
[To say that Tarn was disappointed to find himself in the medbay, after his short-lived rampage within the depths of Amissis-Re, would perhaps be an understatement. When he first is able to regain consciousness he’s met with a barrage of errors and overheating warnings pinging up rapidly on his HUD. But before long it appears that everything has been put back in working order and overheated and melted internal components have been replaced. All that remains are a few rather crudely figured patch jobs on his outer plating where Megatron managed to really make his mark.]
[He tries to remember what happened. How had he failed so specularly that he managed to land himself unconscious in a medbay for who knows how long? The last thing he remembers was pulling Megatron close to deliver a killing blow with his vocalizer— a quiet whisper to really whittle the life from his bright spark.
Then he was shoved.
He remembers a bright flash of light and excruciating pain, and then nothing. Perhaps being shoved bodily into a conduit feeding electricity into something as highly powered as an Ingress would have that effect on someone. ]
[He’s healing quickly but it does little to improve his mood. He’s nursing a terrible hangover from the sheer quantity of Nuke that he had consumed back aboard his ship. Fortunately for everyone aboard the Moira, by now its effects have surely been flushed out of his system. All that remains is a slightly irritable edge.]
I’m still alive, am I? How disappointing. Although i must admit that I’m not surprised after Megatron’s recent inability to deliver without out begging off at the last minute.

So. Lets talk about this. [And she leans on him, folding her arms as she looks at scanner results.] I'm going to be your doctor and I know you don't like that, but I am. And, I am actually invested in your health.
How long have you been taking these chemical enhancers? About at what point in your life did you start? Were they regular? Or did you take them by necessity? I ask because even in machines prolonged exposure to chemicals can affect function. I know you're a living machine but you're still composed of materials and those materials could need some sort of additional maintenance.

I never asked for your concern and I'm fully aware of my own limitations when it comes to fueling with Nuke.
[He would really prefer for organics to stay out of his medical business, but it doesn't seem like he has much of a choice. His own medic back home would have a melt down if she ever caught him trying to skip out on details that could lead to long lasting damage to his systems.]
My use of this particular performance enhancer is purely by necessity. My job consists of taking down the some of the largest and most vicious Cybertronians who have ever made the mistake of crossing the Decepticon Justice Division. Sometimes a little extra boost is required to make it out on top. I've been fueling with it for a few million years, but the nucleon crystals are finite and only found in one particular mining shaft on the planet Messatine. Since there is such a limited supply my team and I only fuel with it when we find the situation absolutely necessary.

[She continues scanning the last of him, travelling down to his feet, where she has to climb up on his leg and pull out a laser scalpel.] Okay, keep telling me about it. I have to seal something here, though, so hold still. How many planets have these crystals been found on?
[She has to perch on his shin as she does a very delicate welding job with the side of the blade.]

Just the one. Nucleon can be found scattered around various planets, but the crystals found in that particular mine shaft on Messatine were exposed to some sort of temporal energy. The energy provided something of a catalyst and over the next few million years it seems that the atomic structure of those crystals began changing into something new.
[She seems to be doing a decent enough job welding that Tarn relaxes ever so slightly, continuing on a tangent.]
It's an extremely potent performance enhancer. When fueling, it is important for the user to not ingest too much, lest you do serious damage to internal systems. The dose that I took back home was a relatively large one, but not nearly enough to do any sort of lasting damage.
