Who: Cassandra (
deal) & Tailgate (
daintylegs)
When: Sometime between May 8-10
Where: Garden
What: Tailgate has to show something off
Warnings: Probably nothing, but you never know when you're considering giving the birds and the bees talk to a transformer.
[Still feeling a little amused from the conversation she and Tailgate have just had, Cassandra works quickly to finish up the job she's taken on. It doesn't take her too long, and she heads straight for the garden in order to meet up with him. She really doesn't want to make him wait for her any longer than necessary, so she winds up jogging most of the way there.
He's easy to spot once she arrives, and slows down to a walk in order to look cool and calm and not at all like she's hurried to get here. When she's close enough, she flips her hand up in a casual wave.]
I hope I'm not interrupting a pregnancy freakout.
[She teases, and her eyebrow arches as she tips her head to look up at him. She's most definitely curious about what it is he has to show her, but figures she might as well get all the sass out in the open right away.]

[He says, sounding playfully offended. The absolutely sad thing is that that's kind of the truth. Having panic attacks at random times is never fun, but at least he can make them less serious (to himself and others) if he jokes about them.]
Okay! Are you ready?
[He pauses dramatically, before transforming into his alt-mode. After a moment something shimmers in front of him, and a human shape pops into existence. She puts her hands on her hips and displays her humanness proudly for Cassandra to see.]
Ha! What do you think? Pretty cute, huh?
[Despite being made entirely of light, Tailgate's human body looks and sounds every part the human female. If Cassandra were to poke her, she'd find that the shape even feels like a human. Pretty wild.]
no subject
It's impressive.
[She mumbles, reaching out to touch at Tailgate's very human arm. That feels incredibly human. It makes her jump in surprise, because this is basically like witchcraft to her. So things like Tailgate can transform into other mechanical things and people? Humans got the short end of the awesome stick, se realizes.]
How do you do that?
no subject
This is a holomatter! You see, we're really big, right? So in order to interact with smaller races, we project a hard light image and stick our consciousness in it so we can go places we usually can't. That means if anything happens to this body, it'll hurt my brain a lot. At this moment, my mind is here. [The avatar points to her head.] and not here. [She points to Tailgate's actual body.] Some people can be both places at once, but I'm not quite there yet.
But! Now that we're the same size...
[More or less, as Tailgate's human size is a inch or two shy of five feet.]
There's something important that must be done. It's a Tailgate friendship initiation thing.
no subject
What kind of initiation...thing?
[In her experience, initiations haven't ever been fun or good, so she's unsure if she should just go ahead and run away now or wait and see what Tailgate has up their sleeve before shoving and running.]

[He pauses and gives a serious and firm nod.]
Give me a piggyback ride.
[He can't hold back his grin anymore and he bounces cheerfully on his heels.]
I've never gotten one from a human before, so I feel like this is a life experience worth having. Dont' worry, I'm not that heavy! At least, I don't think so. I've never picked myself up before, so I actually have no idea.
no subject
You are not getting on my back.
[She doesn't know if she'll be stabbed in the process, or what. She enjoys Tailgate, but there isn't trust there, which means that she is shutting down any idea of too much physical contact. And a piggyback ride is way too much for her to feel comfortable.]
What about a handshake?
no subject
[Tailgate says, doing his best to convey his disappointment with his human features. It's a lucky thing he even asked, as Tailgate is very prone to inviting himself onto people's backs whether they ask for it or not.]
Ah well, a friendship handshake will do!
[Disappointment over and done with, he decides to move on. He holds out his hand to her and the most solemn and serious way he can manage. Which isn't easy when your face is naturally made for brighter things.]
no subject
[She smirks a little, amused that Tailgate is so touchy feely. But given his personality, it makes perfect sense. So she extends her hand, allowing Tailgate to decide how light or firm the handshake is. ]
And we'll work up to a hug. Maybe.
no subject
You're just as bad as Megatron. He's all "I have never hugged a person in my life, Tailgate!" Which is impressive because he's, like, five million years old. You should see his holomatter. It's not very huggable.
Well, okay, no one can be as bad as Megatron. It's not physically possible.
Do you want to go for a walk? I like seeing the inside of the Moira from a human's point of view.
no subject
[She's amused as she says it, nodding in response to walking around. Cassandra likes the garden, because it's as close to getting to spend all of her time outside as she can get. She finds that she misses home because of getting to spend all her time outside, and this is a nice fix for any homesickness.
She allows Tailgate to lead the way, walking alongside him happily.]
What does his holomatter look like, anyway?
