FAR FROM NOWHERE! SHROUDED IN MYSTERY, THE BARREN WASTELANDS OF AMISSIS-RE HOLD THE PROMISE OF HOPE. GREETED BY AN INTELLIGENT AND HIGHLY ACCOMMODATING, BUT PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN HOST, PASSENGERS OF THE MOIRA ARE BEING URGED TO UTILIZE A HEAVILY MODIFIED VERSION OF THE FAMILIAR INGRESS TO RETURN TO THEIR HOMES. WITH FEW RESTRAINTS, ONLY FRACTURED TIME WILL TELL HOW THE LAST SECRETS OF THE WAR AND FAR BEYOND WILL BE REVEALED...

[ She has to laugh at little at his phrasing there. "Explain himself" as if he has done something wrong. ]

By all means, explain your love for as long as you like. I've waited long enough to hear about it.

[ No, not even now can she resist poking fun at him. ]

[ Despite her teasing, he can't bring himself to feel much more than excitement and wonder and pride in being able to finally tell her what he feels. It's freeing in a way he wouldn't normally experience.

What's left to be said can't be done so with words so he leans in to give her a kiss, pausing just shy of her lips in the most questioning manner. He wouldn't dare taken without asking. ]

[ Her reply comes swiftly enough, as she leans in to close that last remaining distance between them and press her lips against his.

She probably ruins the romance of the moment a little when she giggles against his mouth, his mustache tickling her. ]

[ It couldn't be ruined, not by most conventional means. The fact that they've really waited far too long for this makes the moment nearly indestructible.

He laughs, too, not finding it too difficult to guess where he amusement comes from. When he pulls away, it's to stroke at his beard, to flatten down the slightly wiry bristles. ]

You'll have to get used to that. [ A joke, but not an unreasonable assumption. Another laugh. ] I've been told I'm not permitted to shave.

[ She raises an eyebrow at him, but she is a little too smitten at the moment for the slight sarcasm of the expression to have much of its usual edge. ]

I assume whoever said that hasn't kissed you.

[ She's just joking, the beard is... well, growing on her. ]

No, you're right about that. But I imagine they wouldn't want to, either.
