Who:Han Solo and YOUR FACE
When: throughout the month of May
Where: aboard the Moira unless otherwise noted
What: for all your miscellaneous threading needs! will probably post some specific starters, but feel free to hit him up with basically anything.
Warnings: currently n/a; will warn in threads / update as needed
Though going home is Han's number one priority, he's not sure a temporary trip (if that's even for real) is worth the risk. So while he'll get into his share of trouble, he's sticking around on the Moira a fair amount. Plenty to do.
He keeps up with his work running one of the transporters as needed, and can frequently be found between trips on the flight deck. Sometimes he's poking at his shuttle of choice, but just as often he can be found in or around the Millennium Falcon. Loath as he was to risk spreading whatever contamination they've all contracted onto his pride and joy, there's only so much waiting a man can take. (Play your cards right and maybe you'll get a tour, he likes to show off.)
The mess hall, the bar, and the cafe are all frequent enough haunts. Hell of a lot better than being stuck for months with instant caf and freeze-dried rations. As far as space travel goes, this is straight up luxury.
Otherwise, he'll be around, here and there.

Just like old times, except they didn't usually involve so much free fall. Usually.
When he lands it's softer than it should be considering the height, a disorienting stumble, though he doesn't quite hit the floor. He finds himself standing in a well-lit corridor, its graceful architecture not entirely unfamiliar.

So as soon as Han lands next to him, stumbling in much the same way he did, Lando reaches for his shoulder and pulls him along as he steps into a doorway. Lucky them that they came out the other side right by an auxiliary, and therefore often unoccupied, control room.
"In here," It's explanation enough, and as soon as they're in the room, he'll head straight for a panel. He's just trying to get enough information to figure out what's happening beyond this one quiet corner of the city, not accessing anything restricted. If he tried to enter one of his codes and the place is under Imperial control, who knows what that could trip?

"So is this a good trip or a terrible one?"
If they're stuck in a city he's in charge of, that could come in handy. The alternative, though...
no subject
"It's not a good one."
He steps back before he does anything that might send up alarms or, worse, identify him, and moves to the wall. He really should have paid more attention to the maintenance layout...
"There should be a panel here somewhere."
no subject
"So we crawl around the ducts until it pulls us back?"
Han does not sound enthused, but it's not the worst plan...
no subject
Come on now. Like they're not going to find a way to snag something.
no subject
(That’s a question that won’t get answered, with any luck.)
“Sure, anywhere you want,” he mutters, eyebrows raised. Hey, why not? They’ve come this far, they might as well risk their necks rather than have it go to waste. “Anything particular you’re looking for?”
no subject
"Oh, I don't know..." He almost seems like he has no agenda whatsoever for a moment, until his smirk betrays him, "I am curious whether they've cleared out the casino floors."
no subject
"Figures," he answers, but with a grin that suggests he thinks it's a perfect idea. A few more decks of cards never hurt anyone, at the very least.
no subject
Han's grin inspires a laugh in response as his own smirk breaks into a wide smile. Perhaps a bit wider because he's finally found - and opened - the utility access. "I don't know about you, but I would hate to go back empty-handed."
no subject
"It'd be a shame," he agrees, lifting his chin a bit. "Lead on."
no subject
He eyes the duct for a moment, then climbs in a bit reluctantly. Yeah, it's his idea, but it doesn't mean he's a great fan.
"It's not too far, but this won't take us the whole way."
Meaning eventually they'll have to be exposed.
no subject
"How big of a thing do you think we can carry?"
no subject
Of course they won't but they'll be fine. Somehow, he doesn't even consider that there's an alternative to that.
"You're the one who's done this before. Do we have to actually pick it up?"
no subject
They can probably sneak a little further before they have to get quiet, right?
"Luke brought back a damn speeder, so I guess not."
no subject
Anything left that's worthwhile, really. Getting it back onto the ship is a problem to be addressed later.
They can get a little further, but his tone is starting to lower.

After a moment, he moves to the left, speaking softly over his shoulder, "This way ought to lead us t-"
The word is cut off with a yelp and he falls from view - down a chute, the door to which he hadn't quite noticed until he'd gone through it.
Hopefully he doesn't wind up where Luke did.

"You all right?" he calls, as loudly as he dares-- which isn't very-- and after a moment's hesitation and consideration, he frowns (not that there's anyone there to see it) and wriggles onward to slide down after.
