THE GREAT PAPYRUS! ([personal profile] coolskeletonnyehntyfive) wrote in [community profile] thisavrou_log2016-03-12 12:17 am

[Open] working your fingers to the bones, cause nobody loves you when you're gone

Who: Papyrus, Sans, and YOU!
When: March 12th and onwards
Where: Medbay
What: Papyrus had a really bad idea that nearly got himself and Sans killed. Sans put out a call for help. This log is for the general followup/aftermath.
Warnings: Broken bones and hearts, cracked skulls, life draining, will add more if necessary.

((OOC Note: The translator event will affect the skeletons, so anyone tagging in on the 13th will be in for a lively game of charades!))

Med'an didn't know Papyrus too well yet, but he could still tell that the skeleton was struggling. He gave him another smile, trying to project a sympathetic vibe about him, as though thinking nice things might help.

The stiffness didn't go unnoticed, either, but he was more distracted by Papyrus' amusing phrasing, the smile on his face growing uncontrollably. That was....a kind of adorable thing to say, honestly. He shuffled forward in his seat, holding the scanner up to begin, and said kindly, "I'm not really looking for anything hidden. I just have to record it so we know you're healing." Hopefully it was clear from his tone that he was charmed, not derisive.

While a small part of him feels as though he’s way too young to be thinking this, Papyrus’ reaction almost reminds him of himself. And though he’s still pretty new at this whole “bedside manner” thing, he recognizes a distraction opportunity when he sees one.

“It does all kinds of stuff. We don’t have anything like this back home. It can even show...um…” he’s about to say bones when he realizes. Who he’s talking to. Mayhap the skeleton will not be so impressed with that.

“...my bones.” There.

Now hopefully that’s not some sort of dirty thing to say in skeleton-land.
