[Open] working your fingers to the bones, cause nobody loves you when you're gone
Who: Papyrus, Sans, and YOU!
When: March 12th and onwards
Where: Medbay
What: Papyrus had a really bad idea that nearly got himself and Sans killed. Sans put out a call for help. This log is for the general followup/aftermath.
Warnings: Broken bones and hearts, cracked skulls, life draining, will add more if necessary.
((OOC Note: The translator event will affect the skeletons, so anyone tagging in on the 13th will be in for a lively game of charades!))

Ratchet's probably going to yell at him for being foolish. Not that he doesn't deserve it, of course. He's made some bad decisions in his time, but this one is somewhere in the top three.

"I'm sorry, Papyrus...I...wish this all could've gone different for you."

"Yes... I wish that too." He looks up, a bit quickly. "It just seemed like such a relatable situation! A skeleton monster, trapped in the dark behind a barrier someone else created? It felt like we already had so much in common!"

He knew what it was like to latch onto the common ground between yourself and someone else. A desperate bid for commonality that made it hurt that much more when you turn out to be ultimately, fundamentally different.
Even still, Ratchet almost admired Papyrus' valiant attempt at hoping for the best in Palatino. In Ploiatos. Even if had ended in near tragedy.
"I'm just glad you're okay. You and Sans both."

"Yes... it could have been a lot worse if he..." Papyrus shakes his head. "Let's just say, if he had to strike one of us, I'm glad it was me!"
