[Open] working your fingers to the bones, cause nobody loves you when you're gone
Who: Papyrus, Sans, and YOU!
When: March 12th and onwards
Where: Medbay
What: Papyrus had a really bad idea that nearly got himself and Sans killed. Sans put out a call for help. This log is for the general followup/aftermath.
Warnings: Broken bones and hearts, cracked skulls, life draining, will add more if necessary.
((OOC Note: The translator event will affect the skeletons, so anyone tagging in on the 13th will be in for a lively game of charades!))

There's a fondness in Sans voice, but it's weighed down by a long scarred over pain. He can't quite help holding onto his brother's hand a little tighter.
"Something closer to human than any of us. But also... not." Sans frowns deeper. "I dunno how to describe it. It was just... cruel."

Not human, but something with the capacity to be as cruel as one. Asriel keeps his attention on Papyrus while he thinks about it a little while longer.
"Do you think all Palatino wanted to do was hurt people?"

Not most of them, anyway.
"I dunno." Sans says instead, rubbing the space between his eye sockets. The quiet scratch of bone-on-bone punctuates his words. "I dunno if that's true of anything, kiddo. Can't think of too many people who are all or nothing, even if they pretend to be. But..."
And there's always a but.
"I know he likes hurting people. A lot. And that's enough reason to stay far, far away, kiddo."
