alien robot dad party
Who: Megatron & Superman
What: Dealing with the nonsense their respective kids have gotten into.
Where: The cargo bay.
When: Right after said nonsense.
Warnings: Old people?
After all is said and done, he doesn't go easy on her. They get back to the cargo bay to tidy up, moving shipping containers back to their places by hand and and cleaning the blood off the floor. Clark is still in his suit and cape, shoulders squared. He's not quite angry - he was 16 once, too - but he's definitely disappointed in the choices that led to this. She could have gotten hurt, even if she doesn't want to believe it. Anyone could have come through and gotten caught up in this. Andrew did get hurt, and while he'd escalated the situation beyond what it needed to be - Kara shouldn't have picked the fight. She has a responsibility to her power, and the choices she makes, and the consequences they bring. He does expect a lot of her, but she should expect a lot of herself. He continues lecturing her to that tune even when the cargo bay door opens up to some very large entries. They're mostly done with the cleaning here anyway, and he lets her go soon after.
Once Kara is gone, he floats up a good twenty feet in the air, hovering there. All in all, the area doesn't look to bad. Clark exhales slowly, and none of the tension eases out of him, but he turns his attention to one of the arrivals instead. He hasn't met any of them yet, but they're not exactly a surprise - it's impossible not to notice giant robots living in the cargo hold. The cargo hold that had just been trashed.
"Sorry about the mess," he says, folding his arms across his chest. "We tried to get it all back where it belongs."

"Sorry about the mess," he says, folding his arms across his chest. "We tried to get it all back where it belongs."

He didn't know what the fight was about and he didn't particularly care - organics can squabble among themselves all they want - the only thing he was concerned about was that the mess be cleaned up and left workable again.
"The next time your companions decide to fight each other, I might suggest the observation deck," he crosses his arms,"No energon that could blow a hole in the hull if it's handled too roughly."

Somehow, apologizing to an enormous robot seems like the least daunting task of the day, even if said robot doesn't look too pleased.
"I'll make that clear to them, thank you. They're... Kara is young, she's my responsibility." And Andrew isn't quite stable, he doesn't say. "So if there's anything else we can do, just let me know." This isn't exactly like hitting a baseball through the neighbor's window, but she'll still be doing chores for a week if need be.
He can't leave well enough alone at that, of course. Clark inclines his head. "It looks like you had some trouble of your own earlier... Is everything alright?"

There's a quiet wrinkle of his nose as he thinks back on the idiot brigade he'd picked up from the planet's surface, armor plating raising slightly in annoyance. Yes, he had quite the trouble.
"I.. can't be too angry with them. The red one appears to be less than a millenia in age - and Tailgate has been alive for barely a year," he grumbles,"but Riptide is supposedly a trained soldier. He should have known better than to try something as stupid as riding Ceta's flying creatures. And I doubt breaking off his arm on the planet's surface will teach him the lesson he deserves."

A millennia seems like an eternity to him, but the way Megatron talks about it, it could be a handful of years. Clark wonders how old he is. From his tone of voice, apparently the answer is 'too old for this kind of nonsense.' He tried to ride one of the creatures. Clark feels badly for the creature, and for Riptide losing his arm, but objectively he can see why someone younger might think it was a great idea.
"I suppose you can't really ground him," he says, tongue-in-cheek. "If he's a soldier... are you their commander, then?"

He can faintly hear Rodimus scream 'co-Captain' from the dimensional nether realm as his face sets into a serious expression.
"And they're mistaken if they think they can escape consequences just because we're on someone else's vessel."
He's not a very laissez-faire one, that much is clear.

He gives Megatron a calm appraising look, but somehow it doesn't really surprise him at all that he's a captain back home.
"Do you know what you're going to do with them?" He doesn't expect that it's anything unethical - he's mostly just curious. While he isn't exactly thrilled about recent events himself, he he's more or less done dealing with the situation. Megatron looks -- stressed.
