( open ) you are descended from animals
Who: Bruce Banner and anyone!
When: First half of March.
Where: Several places around the Moira.
What: A general catch-all if anyone wants to run into him on the ship since he won't be going down to the planet at all.
Warnings: None for the moment, will update if need be.
( a note: I'm good with both brackets and prose, so just pick whichever you prefer and I'll match! )
Things seem a little calmer now, and while that leaves Bruce feeling wary of what might yet happen, it also offers him a semblance of peace and quiet. The planet seems interesting but not very welcoming, and for that reason he decides not to go down there and visit himself, opting for staying on the ship and spending a good amount of his time in the science department.
Especially as he starts getting data from the planet, helpfully provided by Clark, he dedicates himself to putting together a file with all the thorough information, as well as building a holographic projection of the surface, based on the images and sensors Clark got him. It's exciting work to him, even if it might not seem like much to some, and he can often be found at the department, poring over all the images and information collected.
It's not all work for him, though. He knows he can't push himself past a certain point of exhaustion, and even if things seem calm right now, it's always good to keep practicing a little, and keep himself well in check. His favorite meditation spot is the observation deck, and he's likely to be found there more often than not, sitting on a small blanket, legs crossed and hands resting over his knees. The gardens are also a close second, and he goes there a few times too, enjoying what little of nature they have on board.
At the recreation area, he makes use mostly of the pool about once a week, going for a few leisurely laps at odd hours, when the place happens to be empty - or close enough to it.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday afternoons are spent doing his duties at the mess hall, clearing out tables and making sure there's always food at the buffet for people to help themselves. Outside of that schedule, he can be found there during meal hours, sitting by himself and more often than not reading some file or, most likely, a book.
Run into him on a corridor, spot him at the library, what have you - Bruce regularly visits different areas of the ship so it's not unlikely for him to be spotted in a myriad of different places. Go wild!

His lips press into a thin line, hands lowering the scanner, eyes dropping to the floor. From behind she can see his shoulders rise and slump with the deep breath he takes.
"Sometimes I'm not even sure anymore."
As if every transformation he goes through, especially the unwilling ones, that line he drew between himself and the beast fades a little more; as if each time he crosses that line he loses a little more sense of where he ends and the other guy begins. It's a terrifying thought sometimes, and incidents of the magnitude of Caducus Primary almost completely erase that line, force him to work on drawing those limits and setting up those boundaries all over again.

She thinks of the movies she's seen; she remembers the one from her childhood, one that she had seen when she sneaked inside of the movie theatre, that was about scientist drinking some potion that made him become 'two people.' And then there was the horror movie that came out about a year ago in New York-- a movie where a shy man, who killed a woman while believing to be his own mother. She also tried to remember news articles she had read back at home about delusional people who hurt others.
They weren't quite the same as Bruce's situation, she knows that, but still they helped her to understand what him. Some what.
"We really are one, big group of outcasts and freaks." J says, keeping her tone light and joking. "It's almost like we're on a flying circus." It's not exactly the nicest thing to joke about, but she hopes that he catches the meaning behind her words. The implication that they are the same.

So no, it's not the same; but Bruce appreciates the sentiment nonetheless. He smiles a little, brushes off the lack of tact in her remark— that's never bothered him when coming from people he likes and trusts, much like Tony, like J, and he too has been tactless towards his own condition and towards other people plenty of times before. He doesn't mind it in the slightest.
"I was going to say at least they don't make us put on a show at every stop, but..." Well, the events that go down every month, either on planets or on board the ship, always tend to force them into particularly unpleasant situations that are almost like a sick twisted version of 'putting on a show'.
"Anyway, this is... for him," he gestures vaguely at the cage. "It was built right after Caducus Primary. They couldn't bring him back into the ship without some safety measures in place, so he was floating in outer space for a while until this was ready." And in case she's wondering: yes, he did survive that. Evidently.
