( open ) you are descended from animals
Who: Bruce Banner and anyone!
When: First half of March.
Where: Several places around the Moira.
What: A general catch-all if anyone wants to run into him on the ship since he won't be going down to the planet at all.
Warnings: None for the moment, will update if need be.
( a note: I'm good with both brackets and prose, so just pick whichever you prefer and I'll match! )
Things seem a little calmer now, and while that leaves Bruce feeling wary of what might yet happen, it also offers him a semblance of peace and quiet. The planet seems interesting but not very welcoming, and for that reason he decides not to go down there and visit himself, opting for staying on the ship and spending a good amount of his time in the science department.
Especially as he starts getting data from the planet, helpfully provided by Clark, he dedicates himself to putting together a file with all the thorough information, as well as building a holographic projection of the surface, based on the images and sensors Clark got him. It's exciting work to him, even if it might not seem like much to some, and he can often be found at the department, poring over all the images and information collected.
It's not all work for him, though. He knows he can't push himself past a certain point of exhaustion, and even if things seem calm right now, it's always good to keep practicing a little, and keep himself well in check. His favorite meditation spot is the observation deck, and he's likely to be found there more often than not, sitting on a small blanket, legs crossed and hands resting over his knees. The gardens are also a close second, and he goes there a few times too, enjoying what little of nature they have on board.
At the recreation area, he makes use mostly of the pool about once a week, going for a few leisurely laps at odd hours, when the place happens to be empty - or close enough to it.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday afternoons are spent doing his duties at the mess hall, clearing out tables and making sure there's always food at the buffet for people to help themselves. Outside of that schedule, he can be found there during meal hours, sitting by himself and more often than not reading some file or, most likely, a book.
Run into him on a corridor, spot him at the library, what have you - Bruce regularly visits different areas of the ship so it's not unlikely for him to be spotted in a myriad of different places. Go wild!

WORKING; SCIENCE DEPARTMENT.

TRAINING & MEDITATING; OBSERVATION DECK, GARDENS, RECREATION AREA.

MEALS & DUTIES; MESS HALL.
WILDCARD; ANYWHERE.
Run into him on a corridor, spot him at the library, what have you - Bruce regularly visits different areas of the ship so it's not unlikely for him to be spotted in a myriad of different places. Go wild!

"Weird?" Bruce offered at first with a tentative smile, eyebrows arched. "But that might just be the whole spaceship thing in general. I had another job until recently though, so I'm still getting acclimated with—" he gestured vaguely to the area around them. "All this. At least the concepts aren't foreign to me, so I relate more to what I get to do here."
It was a comfort of sorts, to talk in terms he understood, even as he learned new things about their situation. He felt like he had a somewhat firm footing here, and that felt good.
"Not usually, no. We mostly do readings of the ship and its surrounding areas here. Energy, radiation, things like that. We're always on the lookout for any fluctuations that might pose as a danger to the crew or the ship, and that might be the cause for any odd phenomena going on, and we look for any possible solutions to whatever problems we might have in that regard. Or we can work together with the medbay personnel if, for instance, there's a disease outbreak on board. I'm also working on mapping out our journey so far, with all the information I think is interesting and useful." So really, it ended up being a little bit of everything. "But if you ever want to have some item made specifically for you, you have the armory across the hall. Peridot works there, and she's very skilled and efficient."

"Could they find me a cardboard box?" Snake really wanted one of those right now. "Also, I'm without my CQC knife. I'd love one of those." He desperately wanted his knife back. The portal had taken so much of his already and he felt naked. Naked Snake.

"The knife should be easy enough to manage, too. But that you can ask Peridot, she'll get it done for you." He wasn't sure if Peridot would even have access to an image of those knives, but Bruce could help her with that.

"Peridot? Are they the one who works in the R+D department aboard this ship. Research and Development." Snake clarified for Bruce. So, there was hope after all. "Do you reckon that this could be removed for me sometime in the near future? Or will it have to be part of my body forever?" Venom pointed to the shrapnel horn sticking out of his head.
no subject
"Armory. We don't really have an R&D here. This department and the armory are as close as you'll get to it. She'll get the job done for you, though." Bruce was sure of that. Peridot was not only skilled, but she was practical and analytical, bright, and a hard worker. His eyes flickered to the shrapnel on the man's forehead again at the question, stepping sideways to get a better look, then shrugging slightly as he pursed his lips. "You might want to try the medbay for that. If there's anyone who might help you with it, they're there."
He could always ask Tony to take a look, but he wasn't really sure if he'd be able to help much, considering it was stuck to the man's head of all places.

"Thanks. I'll make sure to check out the Med-Bay if I want this treated in the future." He offered Bruce a warms smile. "Have you had a lot of people asking strange requests like mine?"

He made a mental note to ask more about it sometime, if they ever got to talk again, maybe establish more of a cordial relationship.
"Not around here, no. At least not so far. Although when I worked with the cryo units, I had a lot of people asking me if I could unplug them if they ever ended up stuck in one of them, or to just keep an eye on them and make sure the captains didn't do anything... sketchy." A valid concern, all things considered.
