a; the rage beast cometh [18.2]

[Ade didn't even know which captain's door this was he just knew it was a damn captain's door. Something had been off all day, he'd woken up groggy which was a tell tale sign that he'd been drugged. He shook it off quickly before finally finding the door to the hold open. He'd been in a rage, expecting objects to lift themselves up into the air in his wake or at least that he'd have crushed a few chairs- that happened often enough that it didn't surprise him any more.

Nothing happening, now that was a surprise. To the extent that for a few minutes he'd been kidding himself that he was just totally zen about all of this- until he got back to his room and tried to lift a cigarette with his powers and nothing happened. Nothing at all. He raged, he swore, he punched, he did everything to try and engage his powers and nothing worked. He was powerless. He was basically human and boy he wasn't happy.

He made his way to the nearest captain's door and starts beating the metal frame.]

What did you fucking do to me. Come out here and fucking explain! [Oh christ the night.]

[So no powers meant an incredibly worked up Ade. An incredibly angry Ade. An Ade who could have had forty adjectives attached to his name and it still wouldn't be enough to explain the sheer magnitude of the shit going through his head. He needed to blow off steam but apparently violence wasn't the answer so he didn't have the chance to go punch the shit out of an actual human being that bled.

It made him wish Athena actually was still around... because he'd probably kill her all over again and actually take it slow this time. But apparently that wasn't an option any more, because of their stupid moral reasoning.

Which is why Ade can be find in the rec area, stripped of his uniform and wearing his Xavier jogging bottoms and a tank top. He'd found some tape stashed away in a cupboard and wrapped his hands before setting in on the punching bag and trying to obliterate it.]

c; the rage beast drinketh [24.2]

[When there was nothing else left to do to try and purge the feeling from his system Adrian turned to drink. He propped himself up at the bar, grunted at a bar tender and got himself a bottle of something harsh and one glass, lining up shot after shot and knocking them back.

He'd get to the stage where he might deal eventually, but for now he was still so angry. There wasn't any remorse behind it- instead there was the all consuming rage that the captains had been capable of changing him so fundamentally, taking away his powers.

If he had them right now there wouldn't be a ship. There probably wouldn't even be an Ade. So instead he'll find oblivion in the bottom of a bottle. Maybe this is a good time to air your feelings about him.]

[He shrugged. Fair enough.] Maybe. But there were probably still no swords floating around you when you were born.

[He grins.] Nah. They kept the sharp objects to themselves. Made one hell of a mistake the day they decided to share.

[He lets out a short chuckle at that.] Yeah, I think they rather saw that. I imagine you're not getting those back any time soon.

My swords? [He just smirks.] They're in my room.

[... Well, he hadn't been expecting that. His eyes widen quite visibly at that.] Oh... I... Clearly didn't know that.

[Ade just laughs and does so particularly loudly.] Clearly you didn't mate. Fuck, most people don't. Then again a lot of them are happy enough knowing I can't kill anyone. [He sighs, seeming above it all and picking out yet another cigarette now his other had burned down to the filter.] How bloody stupid they are.

[In hindsight later on, he'll be surprised at how calm he is while listening to Ade speak. But for now, he raises his eyebrows slightly.] Because that doesn't mean you can't still hurt them, right?

[Ade points both fingers at Tyler before nodding enthusiastically.] Exactly... I mean fuck, mate, I was taught how to hurt long before I was taught how to kill. The last blows the least interesting one.

[This is a very fucked up conversation he found himself in, and he's really starting to wonder just how much deeper he wants to go.] I wouldn't know.

[He tilts his head to the side.] No? The werewolf don't know what its like to maim?

[He shakes his head.] Nope. Only thing I've killed was bugs, and those I just smash them to get rid of them in one go.

Well fuck, that ain't like the films either, is it? [He was genuinely quite surprised by the idea which really shows his views on murder.]

[He can't help but chuckle at that.] Well, I can't vouch for how your movies talk about us, but yeah. Maiming things isn't really common. [He then pauses before nodding.] Although my brother did get in a fight with a stray cat the first time he turned. That was interesting, but nobody died there either.

[forcefulgift]

Well, from what I've seen mate its usually along the line of 'here's a werewolf, watch him kill a bunch of blokes before he gets pumped full of silver'... expensive way of killing someone if you ask me. [He grins, clearly quite amused by himself.] But I suppose your horror movies must be different, yeah?

[Huh...] Not that different from the older ones, then. Except for the ones where the director was a secret werewolf.
